^ While that is true, i do agree that the interest on VS is dying down. BZ cares less, tfs never cared much but now is like VS doesn't exist, the other lovevsmodels forum thing is on its way to death row, VS Holic died and so on ... I also don't see their (VS) social network following increasing that much in any platform and we all saw their sales decreased, same for the VSFS ratings. Tbh, VS needs to get their shit together because they are losing their status as the brand everyone knows and cares (more or less) about. I think the change on models from hot women to teen looking girls turned off a LOT of people and also the lack of diversity may be a problem with your mainstream audience (both in ethnicity/looks and in body types), and having like 25 different people in their catalogs + 15 angels also took away the exclusivity of it killing the brand's appeal within the fashion industry VS plan to appeal teens by having younger, relatable models like say Lily A or Behati may have worked in the short term, but long term it feels to me like a massive failure. Teenagers grow up and move on, first of all for the most part they can't afford those $60 bras so they are not loyal costumers, then they forget they used to love X or Y model and move on with their lives. And I know several women who got so turned off by the image VS was pushing that they stopped shopping there. It's a lot of things combined, but when you put it all together VS does seem to have their best years behind them. Unless they do some changes now under their new management.

Agreed. I managed to find someone who bring me VS stuff this month but there is nothing on my size that I like. I think the past two years have sucked pretty bad for the most part.

Yup, not everyone sells equally. VS can track really easily who sells and who doesn't, which leads to certain girls getting dumped by the brand (i.e Chanel, Karlie) and other girls being used a lot for catalog (i.e Adriana, Candice). The "Ed has a boner for X model so she is everywhere" thing is 100% bullshit, Ed may personally like a lot of girls but VS is a company that needs women who sell, not buddies for Ed which is why some of his faves get cut and others are awarded with contracts and why certain girls are used for certain products (Lindsay and beauty, Candice for Swim, Adriana for lingerie, Jasmine for VSX) If Jasmine is being used so much it must be because she is selling, clearly Sara doesn't sell as well, customers don't give a single fuck about how "popular" models are on IG, if social media was a real representation of how people buy then it means Sara is more popular than say, Kate Upton and we all know it's absolute bullshit

Okay body, looks pissed when tries to be sexy and adds nothing to the table. I say VS needs to keep Elsa, Vita, Jo, Stella, Jasmine and Taylor as main angels. Let Dri and Candice stay as the big names for a couple more years while the newbies become more solid and it's a win, everyone else is adding literally nothing to the brand. And yall stop saying Jasmine is not working, she is everywhere in the website and the reason it's because she sells. Not everyone has free time to be putting idiotic comments on IG and liking pictures, and IG is like 99% dumb YAASSQUEENILOVEUUYASSYAASS teenagers who can't even afford the shit VS sells anyway, is not a real representation of costumers at all.

I actually like the video and i love the song. Tbh i'd be thrilled to see VS cutting down their roster to the girls in the video + Taylor. Seems like a solid group and the others ain't doing it no matter how hard VS keeps pushing them.

And another question out of curiosity, as a Colombian girl, did you think about trying Beauty Pageants? Is it me or Pink seems to be going for older looking girls lately? In the past couple of months seems like they are using new girls who actually look like they could be going to college and not like teenagers with more than a couple years of high school left Also mainline has cut a shit lot of models too, seems like it's only Angels + Vita shooting these days and everyone else is just doing white/gray wall stuff, which IMO is a great move to promote their girls instead of having a bunch of models. And with VS being under a new CEO I can imagine we'll see big changes at the show too, hopefully less models and less teenagers. I'd love for VS to go back to having 25-30 girls

Behati is out for sure, FB will be shot in two months or so and Behati is still pregnant so no way she's getting it IMO. And Selita got the FB before Adriana and Alessandra, and Marisa and Miranda got it before Alessandra, heck Adriana got it three times over, Candice got it over Doutzen and Lily got it over Behati, is not like VS has ever given a single fuck about loyalty or time with the brand. I went with Elsa in both, but I think Adriana has really good chance of getting her fourth. Would like to see Lais getting it too but I'm reaching there. And I couldn't care less about the others.
