Is she still modeling or has she fully moved on to acting or moved on to being an influencer? Trying to figure out where this thread fits best but tbh I don't follow her enough to know what she's been up to lately. Also that article is super fucked up, I'm glad she's speaking up and sharing her story, the modeling industry is truly the worst.

CAA is not a modeling agency per se, they are indeed more focused in business and brands, I am sure if Adriana is planning to launch her own skin care/make up line, that's what she needs CAA for. But to book editorials, shows or campaigns? She's damn right she doesn't need an agency, she's is one of the biggest names in the industry from the past two decades, I'm sure she already knows everyone she needs to know and brands/editors have their made up their mind about Adriana already, it's not like she needs to get her name out there anymore. If Adriana was a newer, no-name girl then I'd be more worried and convinced this was a huge mistake, but considering where she is in her career, I honestly think it's fine but we'll see.

Tbh I think at that point it was more about the exposure and the potential of getting a cover than the money that made her go back. She didn't get the cover when everyone, including herself probably, expected her to and once you hit that point, it's pretty obvious you'll never get the cover and you just move on... I'm sure it's the same that happened with other girls like Gigi, Barbara and Lais for example. I don't even like Emily and I was personally happy she never made it to the cover, but let's not act like she's not one of the biggest modeling names in the mainstream media these days, for good or bad, the fact is she is wayyy more famous than all the current SI and VS girls combined. I am however, cackling at the styling comments, they are solid gold
