  2. I'm sorry but they don't look like grown women at all, if anything it's creepy af, the entire fashion industry is based on making people believe that these girls are "physically grown women" and that's bullshit, they are not, that's literally the reason why model careers are short, because the minute they actually fully grow they get dropped by brands if they have boobs or a butt. It happened to many girls and it's what Taylor was referring to in the interview and she's a high-profile model, imagine what it is for lesser known girls. Just because the fashion industry does it, doesn't mean it's right and that's why now they have a ban on girls under certain ages walking fashion week, it's baby step in the right the direction. I can't be bothered with looking at Bridal stuff when the model looks like a child or a teen going to her confirmation, it's uncomfortable as hell and I know that's the case for many other women. As for Hair Gel, he's gone and there's no point on beating the dead horse so let's move on from that as it has been discussed so many times in this thread, we all feel some type of way about it and I don't think there's anything that can be added to that.
  3. These bitches are all crazy but I will say Anthea > Elsie any day of the year Abby Champion Annie Morrissey Niamh Adkins Olivia Brower Emily Deyt-Aysage Marina Laswick Natalie Roser Joy Van der Eecken
  4. Yeah and the fashion industry ain't helping at all by having 16 years old in bridal gowns, these girls should be modeling prom dresses, not wedding dresses that's creepy as fuck and it just helps perpetuate an image that is very wrong of extremely young brides being cool. Tbh the entire fashion industry is gross but that's for a completely different thread
  5. As far as I know, she asked for all content of her to be removed from BZ Not sure if it includes competitions but I would assume so, @Prettyphile what is the standing with Anthea/Elsie being in comps?
  6. I mean it's the same industry that will put the said 17-years old girl as the face of their Bridal collections... As if child-brides were not a major issue in some parts of the world
  7. Yup, all content from that woman is not allowed on BZ anymore, same with Anthea Page.
  8. Well that's just your opinion and in all honesty idc? Clearly the majority of people like her a lot or she wouldn't win. It's what she deserves, that body is 10/10. She's looking better than ever
  9. Glad to see the madness has ended and Hannah has reclaimed her rightful place
  10. Hannah #1 IT'S WHAT SHE DESERVES
  11. I wasn't a massive fan of the 2011 rookie class as it had both Kenza Fourati and Shannan Click and both girls I strongly don't like, the last great rookie class was 2013 with Em Didonato, Hannah Davis, Natasha Barnard and Kate Bock. Overall I think 2012 and 2013 were pretty okay even though I wasn't a massive fan of either cover (Kate was great, but they chose very bad pictures), 2014 was already kinda underwhelming even tho the cast was still quite solid, 2015 had some amazing shoots (like Nina and Hannah F's) but also some very meh ones and there were some bad casting choices that none of us agreed with, but 2016 was the first year we were all collectively in shock at how bad it was and it has just gone downhill from there with this year hitting a new low. I remember complaining about Julie Henderson and Jessica Gomes being a magazine back then... Little did I know I'd come to miss them both My main question is tho, what happened to photographers like Walter and Bjorn Iooss? Ben Watts? James Macari? Derek Kettela? None of them have been back and they were all pretty good (unless they got fired for being gross, in which case I get it) EDIT: There's more Raphael Mazzucco, Kayt Jones, Riccardo Tinelli, Stewart Shing... Honestly now that I'm noticing, it seems like their best photographers stopped working with them? IDK but a lot of them haven't shot in the last two years or more and I think it really shows in how bad and boring the photography has become.
  12. She has been done with VS for a while, I'm pretty sure her contract expired in late 2019 along with Candice and Martha. None of them were included in the Mother's Day campaign (huge sign for Candice, one of the only two Angels with kids) nor have they've been in any of the "at home" content and their only pictures in VS' social media are from older shoots but none of them have done VS since at least the very small Christmas stuff from last year, for context, even Romee who is pregnant is still showing up with new content in the VS social media so it is odd af these women are MIA. More importantly, VS did not wish Martha a Happy Birthday like they do every year with all the angels so sis is gone. The VSxFLL collab was probably in the FLL end, they have been putting models that don't do VS or haven't done VS in years like Edita, Hailey, Georgia May and others and we know Elsa has worked for FLL before and hopefully she will work more with them now because their work together was always A+ quality. As far as the agency change goes, CAA is not a modeling agency, it's more of a talent/PR firm and they handle girls like Heidi, Rosie, Alessandra, K-Upton, Leomie, Candice and Adriana, this probably means Elsa is ready to start expanding her business beyond modeling even more which doesn't come as a surprise at all... MAYBE SHE WILL FINALLY RELEASE THE GODDAMN CLOTHING LINE!?!?!?! Because all the other girls have released licensed deals since joining CAA so maybe this is why Elsa went there. So just in case, let's all start saving them coins for it.

  14. Tati should just trademark Choices tbh, it's all I think about when I hear it as well But yeah, a lot of people gave VS shit for giving certain Angels bad outfits, but we've known since the Heidi/Gisele days that top dogs get to pretty much choose their outfits. These women have no one to blame but themselves for the poor outfit choices, like Adriana had the most gorgeous outfit to open in 2010 but sis changed it to the meh one she got because she wanted to be more comfortable as well.
  15. I think the last time I was like WOW, was probably 2012. 2013 and 2014 were good, not mind-blowing but still good, 2015 was already shaky and 2016 was IMO the beginning of the disaster we now have.
  16. According to Google, MJ became Senior Editor in 2014, I'm not sure when in 2014 but this means even the 2015 issue was influenced by the previous editor because they start working in the magazine with a lot of time so I'm sure 2015 was a mix of the previous editor and MJ, so the first time we got a magazine 100% under MJ's reign was 2016. Here's some things that happened in 2016: - Hannah Ferguson was robbed of the cover. - Ashley Graham made her debut in SI and got a cover. - Ronda Rousey made her debut and also got a cover. - Barbara Palvin was a rookie and her career bounced back, probably the best decision from that year. - It was the last year for Irina Shayk, Emily Didonato, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge. - Mia Kang somehow beat the likes of Caroline Kelly, Daniela López Osorio, Kyra Santoro and Megan Williams in the first of any horrible Model Searches. In contrast, 2015 gave us the beautiful All-American locations issue with Hannah Davis on the cover, a rookie class that had Erin Heatherton, Hailey Clauson, Rose Bertram and Solveig among others. The previous editor, Diane Smith was with the magazine since 1999 and we all know 1999-2013 were damn good editions, 2014 was good too, 2015 was okay and after that it has all become a trainwreck so I'm sorry but I do blame the direction of the magazine on MJ because things started to go downhill the minute she has full power.

  18. Her original music is so good, she really needs to pursue singing more
  19. Clauds replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
The interview for FNI was actually quite nice, the interviewer was really good and covered so many different topics and Adriana was so open about so many things. I enjoyed it quite a lot.
  20. Here's Adriana talking about ending her VS career and her overall experience with the brand, she also says her voice was heard regarding the VSFS outfits, which means this woman really wanted those ugly ass outfits she got
  21. So many good shoots recently, I'm loving all her recent work, it seems like she gained a bit of weight back and it looks great on her. I think this long break has been actually pretty good to a lot of girls.
  22. Alright folks, COVID-19 discussion ends here. I will be deleting any further posts regarding the matter and handing warnings, this is Taylor's thread, if you strongly want to discuss the global pandemic take it to PMs or threads that are better suited for it, we are being bombarded by COVID information in literally every single platform there is, the last thing people want is to come to a model's thread and have to read even more about it.

  25. From her Insta I'm so proud of her for opening up about her struggles and trying to help at least a little bit those who are going through the same. Elsa has always been a pro in our eyes and if she hadn't said anything the odds are we would have never known about it at all and she could have kept that image of just being perfect, so I appreciate it a lot that she is showing a more human, vulnerable, real side of her and the industry as well. I've always been a massive fan but this just made me like her even more.
