They always have around 20 models + athletes. So i don't think Simone and Aly really account of spots tbh. @Sanni i can't really hear it. But I do think it's Emily. I think the bodypaint could be Emily, Chanel, Kelly and Erin tbh. I just can't see them dropping so many names. With their two most mainstream popular models being gone (Gigi and Irina) I just don't think they'd cut as many regulars, especially Kelly who is now getting more press because of Baywatch.

Look at Adriana and Alessandra. They probably work less than 15 days a year for VS and still get paid, I can 100% see Candice cutting a similar deal. VS doesn't need her for the website anymore because they've found a new group of women who sell probably just as well. They mostly need her (and Behati) to draw more attention to the big events and the VSFS. She's above the whole shooting 100 days a year for VS shit, IMO. Biotherm has several spokespeople too so they don't need Candicr super often either, and MaxFactor is a beauty brand so they release new products less often and requires less days of work than say VS. She wouldn't be the first model to slow down after having children, and honestly, she earned that right. Also, neither @PinkCouture or i said anyone is insulting Candice. But literally on every page people are just talking about how she needs to come back asap. She doesn't, and I doubt she likes seeing her so called fans pressuring her every day and complaining about how she is not back to work, and it's the same on her social networks. Maybe it's because Pinky and I are older, but I think it's great she is taking such a long maternity leave and is taking the benefits if the position she is in, more power to her for it. Do I hope Candice gets back to work eventually? Yes, sure. But whenever she feels like it, not when our fucked up society feels like she needs to be lingerie ready.

Not sure if this was answered already but her mother and father are both from Argentina (her father comes from an Italian family, like pretty much everyone else in the country lol, hence the italian last name). She was born in the US and has lived there her whole life but she speaks Spanish and I'm willing to bet she holds dual citizenship

Imma say this ... But do you all realize Candice was just a teenager when she started modelling? She has been modelling for at least the last 10 years, living in airplanes and most likely having from little to no personal time. She earned the right to take as much time off as she wants now, is not something a lot of models (or any woman, tbh) get to do. She has contracts that pay her well enough to take all this time off, more power to her for being brave enough to stay out of the spotlight for this long instead of going on a crazy diet and milk the whole "i had a baby two days ago but I already have my body back" train. Plus, she already pretty much got as far as she'll ever get in this industry, I can imagine her being kind of over it tbh, she's has the same job for more than a decade and she's done it all, maybe she's just not too excited to get back to work I respect Candice a lot more now for taking the time to be a mother and focus on her family. It's her choice to be away and I think everyone should just respect it and be happy for her, especially since she does read the thread and I don't think seeing people pressuring her, she'll get back eventually, when she feels ready for it, but for now I think people here (and on her social networks, honestly) should let her be.

I don't think so. Hannah Ferguson got SI while being with Trump models, they usually have at least one model in the issue every year and if they really wanted a model there I bet they would have gone for a bigger name or even one of the former Miss USA/Miss Universe to shove it down IMG's throat. If you read MJ's post on Instagram about Danielle it's pretty clear she got in because MJ liked her right away, and being liked by the boss lady is always a win.

Nope. She is a model who came out of nowhere and got cast in SI because the senior editor loves her even when she has from little to zero experience and is not even popular or a well known name. It's the perfect "we discovered her and made her a star" story that SI loves to sell, just like it was with Brooklyn, Kate, Chrissy and they all won ROTY

Did Rachel's Instagram ever mention being a Pink Spokesperson? I'm pretty sure it did but I could be wrong. I just went to her account and it doesn't say anything about it anymore, i think she's been officially cut. Btw for the past month I did a lot of airport time which led to a lot of staring at the VS shows, the footage they have at the stores it's so much better than the shit we get on CBS i got to watch the full 2014, 2015 and 2016 shows and they were so good! Shame the TV editing is so bad. I also took some pictures from the displays at the Bond Street store, way better from what we get in the website tbh. Also most of the stores are just Elsa, Sara, Jasmine and a LOT of old pictures of Adriana. If I didn't know any better I'd think those four are the only current Angels o.O

I agree it would be odd to just have Mia come out tomorrow, especially because everyone knows she's in already. And judging by what we have there are two rookies in each location so we could easily be missing two more names from the last two locations, which would leave room for some surprises and that would be quite nice tbh. Btw i just went throught Myla's IG and she seems a pretty awesome woman + her previews do look good (even tho gravity is not her friend lol) so Im glad she's i. Danielle also looks very good in her previews so that leaves Mia as the bastard child from this class for me
