I was thinking the same. Maybe Rachel didn't work out that well? Pink seems to be phasing her out for sure and we haven't seen her doing mainline which can only mean she's getting probably getting dropped, or VS will have a Pink Angel big ass lineup

+1 I love Elsa but even I would react like that Adriana should close the segment tbh, walking before/after Adriana is not easy, i always felt the same way when Gisele and Karolina were around, some love them, some hate them but there's no denying they have so much presence.

Gisele opened two segments in 2006 including the first one, Karolina also opened two segments and wore the fantasy bra that year. So it wouldn't be a first for VS to have her opening two, however, there is no mention of her opening the show just the section in all interviews. I do hope she gets a third outfit, it would be great. I just want Elsa to open mostly because she did work her ass off for VS this year and she deserves some love for it and if she doesn't open the segment then it means she's pretty much not doing anything big this year

I wonder if Adriana is serious about walking the show until she is 40, part of me is terrified and part of me thinks it would be epic if she out-lived Candice, Behati and some of the NA And lol at her saying she opened in 2000, she's done this for so long she doesn't remember shit lol And Irina is walking, I doubt she'll pull out tbh

They may use them with just a couple of models (i.e for the opening/closing), for the finale or (and most likely) for the dancers and performers. I sincerely doubt VS will risk the models My girls look so fine

So in Devon's snapchat it looks like the real GOAT, the Khaleesi of VS, Mother of Angels Adriana did some kind of toast/speech before the flight? the better have filmed that, there were like 100 people on that goddamn airplane, somebody needs to give me a good video of it Also with Adriana walking TRA there is a chance she may open o.o, the only time since 2003 she walked the first segment without opening the show was 2013. I love her but i really, strongly want Elsa to open so VS better stop trolling me and let her open.

I really really hope Ming does open Pink, she is always so good in it and she is a regular in the segment. I'd be thrilled if she does open. Hope to see my girls soon, so far the makeup looks good

Is not about expecting to see your favorite model wearing the clothing. I can bet you that at least 80% of costumers have absolutely no idea of who the women are, out of 14 Angels they may be able to name Adriana, Candice, Behati and that chick who hang out with T-Swift all the time. They sell better because their pictures appeal more women and they draw you to buy the bra/panty, is not about looking like them. The best model could be wearing a potato bag and she will sell it. That's why certain models are more successful, there's brands who have literally spoken about their sells going to the sky thanks to Gisele or Adriana, If it was up to the clothes then all models would be equals, but they are not. Some models sell better and that's a fact, it may be because of their looks, it may be because they take better pictures, god only knows what draws a woman to buy what certain woman is wearing. There's a reason why some model can stay on top for 20 years and other are forgotten after two months. I'm not saying Sara is bad a seller, she wouldn't be here if she was, but. I do think VS is favoring those other women because they sell even more.

The only ones who complain are the psycho fans who want X or Y model being pushed harder than Z, you won't find an average VS costumer who will give a flying fuck about VS overusing a model, mostly because they won't spend all day stalking every little shit VS does like some people (including most of us BZ members, lbr) do, they go to the store/website probably no more than once a week so they don't see the girls that often Elsa, Jasmine and Jo may be working less outside VS out if their own choice, we have no idea of how they've been investing their cash so maybe they have side business not modeling related? A lot of models do that. VS does use girls based on sells, why do you think some women get dropped so fast and others are kept around? At the end of the day it's a business and they need to sell. Especially now that their go-to girls are getting old and ready to go, which is why they started working with so many girls recently and they've dropped so many and kept a smaller group. I think Sara should leave VS tbh, the brand won't do for her anything more than it has done already, especially if she is going to stay on the bench. I think the smart thing to do for her would be moving to a brand that focuses on her and doesn't have all the contractual restrictions VS has IMO. Now that she has a higher profile she'd be able to capitalize more on her name for sure, if she went back to Calzedonia or did something like Intimissi it would be a major win for her tbh.

And the more you see, the more ridiculous the distribution of pictures is o.o, not that I'm complaining, they are my two favorites from the NA but they may as well fire Sara, Romee and Stella and no one would notice. Another thing I noticed is that Sara and Stella are the only two girls who didn't shoot in duos/groups

Kelly Gale and there's a couple of Grace Elizabeth. Honestly looking at this Holiday campaign it's pretty clear who are the models VS wants to push more. The amount of Elsa/Taylor pictures is easily double or triple from the rest of the girls o.o

I think Stella looks 100% flawless on that bodysuit and I'm happy she's opening the segment, girlfriend had a 2016 and it's nice to see this. She has a different appeal than the rest of the girls, I feel like her vibe adds some diversity to the brand (as in not having to be all girly, feminine to be sexy) which is always nice.

I think they could have used the stairs for the opening and closing, put two models without heavy wings and who are strong walkers. Adriana would have slayed an opening in the stairs, then the rest of the models can walk and have the rest of the show without using them until the last model walks, Jasmine coming down the stairs with the Fantasy Bra would have been a major win. I mean I think the aesthetic with the stairs would have been beautiful but also a pain in the ass so i totally understand it. I hope they use them like in 2003 but it's a long shot they will use them at all.

Yall forget the models have heavy wings and high heels, while the stairs are beautiful, it would be a nightmare to make it work and they'd be risking the girls falling all over. If anything the performers/dancers could have used the stairs but the models? Nope, if they were on regular fashion shows then yes, but we've seen wings that are ridiculously heavy and the girls have trouble walking down the runway as it is, I can see why VS decided not to use the stairs, they make for a great scenario but also they also need to keep the girls safe

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think what @Polqu meant is that comments about her body (regardless of those being positive or negative) had absolutely no place in a post about refugee children. We'll never know for sure why she deleted it but it's a shame she did.
