I think it will have some impact for sure, not as much as before but some for sure, especially because she's been really smart with capitalizing on her cover and success, she's done a really good work at staying relevant unlike Nina, Hannah, Hailey and other cover girls, heck I wouldn't be surprised if Ashley scores another cover, she's more famous than the rest of the girls already. That being said, I do hope she gets dropped because I as much as I enjoy seeing some diversity in the magazine, she's become an extremely annoying person so I'd be more than happy to see her go

It's all matter of taste tho, I know several people who love seeing Ashley in a bikini or lingerie, and while she is not favorite woman I would much rather see her in a bikini than a certain other SI model whose tits are pointing to different planets and freaks me out because she's like a Barbie: 100% plastic And also I'm pretty sure Ashley ain't there to please men tbh, she's there to bring publicity (which she does) and sell them swimsuits to the annoying "real women have curves" "big girls are hot" "size 14 ain't fat" crowd. The male reaction to Ashley may not have been the best out there but lots of women were thrilled and SI had more headlines and press thanks to Ashley than with any other cover model besides Kate Upton in the past decade or so, so it clearly worked, so I'm pretty sure we're stuck with her for a while.

28th would cutting it way too close to the show, I think the 28th they'll have a video about the logistics of shipping everything to Paris and setting up the stage and blabla. Two weeks ago they released two videos instead of one, so if they had wanted to hold the fitting video they would have simply not done that and we'd be getting the casting video tomorrow

I doubt Behati will walk, she hasn't been on NYC at all and we haven't spot her at all in the boards. And she lookes great but you can still clearly see a post-baby pooch, which is completely normal but it means she hasn't exactly been working out for a possible show. I'm starting to think Karlie might be a now show too, she's the only unconfirmed model and we haven't seen her working with VS at all, I thought that she'd be there as a VS + Swarvoski thing but Josephine got the Swarovski outfit so idk, I'm starting to think she pulled a Natasha Poly and won't show up

We also have to see if ALL the girls are planning to stay. Take Sara or Romee, they both had decent careers pre-VS, the brand is not giving them priority and It doesn't seem like that will change soon. I can see Sara peacing out and moving to another swimsuit/lingerie brand that will pay her more and gives her priority, and I honestly feel like that would be the best for them to leave. Otherwise they'll end up like Alessandra who has always been on the bench and now is too old and not famous enough to move on like Gisele or Miranda did. VS has always had 2-3 girls they make their go-to and they profit more from the brand (Gisele, Adriana, Heidi, Candice, Behati) and then there's the rest who are just there. And now there's four girls who are clearly getting the best part of the deal and the rest won't get much love unless the other four girls get knocked up (see Lily's 2016) or decide to leave (spoiler aler, they won't). And that's why you have girls like Miranda who leave when they got everything they could out of the brand and they know VS won't give them much more love. While I may not be their #1 fan, I still like Sara, Romee, Stella and Martha and I think (and hope) can all do way better if they leave at the right time, which is like, now. Especially Sara, I think Calzedonia was working out better for then than VS.

I think they're still using Elsa, Taylor, Jasmine and Josephine more than the others, just liike last year. At this point VS already knows who sells better and I sincerely doubt they'll start pushing someone else when they already have a successful group. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Sara, Romee, Martha and Stella get cut next year, I'd say Lais is probably a great online seller and that's why she's been around for so long but the other four don't really seem to be in it for the long run And i can't believe Adriana and Alessandra got paired again, I used to enjoy them a lot together but it's been like a billion years, it's boring at this point. I was hoping for Lily & Alessandra, Adriana & Elsa/Martha to get paired but meh.

SI did peace out Anne V (or she peaced them out?) after her 10th year so maybe Irina will do the same, i sincerely hope so because I feel like 10 years is enoug. Out of the missing girls I'm hoping for Nina and Emily, the rest I'd be fine (or very happy) if they don't come back.

I'm 100% out of touch with VS this year Just curious, who are you guys excited to see walking this year and which segments would you fit your models in?

Their only french model is Camille I think and she's not even that famous so IDK about it. I think it'll be Elsa, Jo, Jasmine or Adriana.

I don't think it was done in 2012 and as far as I can see Behati only did it once, so we may not get anyone this year. I'm hoping it's either Elsa or Adriana again but who knows I can see Josephine or Jasmine doing too, but the rest of the NA + Lily I don't see doing it based on their personalities.

It'll be Elsa because she opens the show, so she'll be most likely the first one to get her makeup and hair done so she's gonna be the one posing to keep them press entertained. IIRC Adriana did so in 2011, Candice in 2013, Behati in 2014/15 which was the years they opened?

+1 I love her since day 1, she better not let me down on this one if she does open. Honestly i'm here for to snatch my wig. Not sure about those shoes tho, they don't seem to match with the opening outfit we saw.

That doesn't mean anything at all, models have been demoted to Pink before (Jasmine 2013 and Lais 2011, Erin and Constance J also at some point). And with Gigi getting put out of Pink, some other regulars like Maud not being cast and Jacquelyn this year, and so many older/famous newbies, somebody is gonna get demoted and Sanne seems to fit the cutesy look. IDK if she'll get one or two outfits but I can for sure see her getting stuck in Pink.

IMO Pink will be these unlucky women Rachel Zuri Grace E Ming Devon Brooke Dilone Herieth Keke Maggie Lameka Xiao Sanne Alanna/Georgia From the newbies we already know Bella is not walking Pink and I doubt Irina, Camille, Lais O or Megan will get put there because they've never worked for Pink and they all look too old for it. Jourdana is already confirmed to be doing mainline and Luma IMO doesn't fit Pink either. I'm not sure about Alanna and Georgia tho, Georgia has been doing Pink but Alanna would fit better
