Sis, Marisa was (and probably still is) x10 times more famous in the US than Doutzen. She was THE model in 2009 in the US, she had the SI Swimsuit cover, she was doing Harley Davidson ad. Also, even though she was made an Angel in 2007 (so she was signed before Doutzen) Marisa had been working with the brand since 2001. She 100% deserved it, my girl Marisa is so underrated here in bellazon 😢 Ming already turned down a VS contract, I don't think she'll ever agree to it tbh. Alexina however I can see taking the gig, and I'd love her to get it

I do follow her and i guess now that Gia is (allegedly) doing AS4 i can see Carmen considering AS5 as a platform to talk about trans issues, lifestyle and etc. HOWEVER, I'm pretty sure Michelle mentioned in What's the Tee that Carmen is hard to work with and also Carmen made some un-kind reminds about Ru back in the day so idk if Ru and WoW would be willing to let her in. And tbh i don't think Carmen will do too great in an AS season, she's not a good singer, actress or comedy queen so I'm not sure how she'd do. I'm all for Yara doing AS again tho, because AS1 was a major fuckery

Congrats to them! It was about time Dixie got a sibbling. I say she is at least 14-16 weeks as well, if she's announcing it already then there's no way she's under 12 weeks indeed as that's usually the safe mark. She looks lovely and they have a beautiful family. As far as work goes, I'm sure she'll take some time off but not as much as she did in her first pregnancy because as @ceceshores said, Lily is way more on demand now than she ever was before or during her previous pregnancy. I don't know about PFW but i can't see her skipping NYFW. I think she'll keep on working and then do more jobs near Nashville and such, but i don't think she'll go MIA for too long.

They had just one or two white blondes for a long time, the blonde insanity began in 2009 tbh. Before that we had just Heidi, Marisa and Karolina and the only years they were all on duty were 2007 and 2008 but those three had very different looks and vibes to them anyway. Then in 2009 VS decided it was a wonderful to hand out contracts to every white blonde model under the sun.

I really love those last two commercials, they are pretty good. The girls look amazing and it's finally not a childish commercial. I'd be more than fine if VS just kept these girls, it works pretty well. It's a nice group to have and it covers all the bases.
