It's just one of those things where if you've been following VS long enough you know how it works. There's just no way VS will pass on the free PR of Ming doing the show again and have a "redemption" moment. I can already picture the lame ass moment of Ming and Gizele holding hands backstage and Gizele encouraging Ming as she prepares to walk. This is VS we're talking about, they live for this kind of stuff.

There is no way in hell Ming is not walking. She's loved by everyone in VS, has been shooting consistenly for the brand this year and her fall was huge PR for the brand last year, not only do I know for sure she's walking, I fully expect VS to do a segment with her. I wouldn't be shocked if she doesn't have to attend castings this year, and Gizele will probably do castings just as a formality. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Ming gets to open a segment followed by Gizele and VS does a little cutesy segment with them like they did with Behati and Lais in 2013. And as someone who loves Ming, I'm happy to know she'll be there and most likely getting some spotlight, she deserves it

Alannah Walton is 100% gonna walk, girlfriend turned 18 like two days ago and she's already shooting for Pink. Ed has been following her and talking about her for years now, i think there's no way in hell she won't make it to the show.

+1 Girlfriend needs to delete that picture and never promote that douchebag's work again. I think it was a mistake and disrespectful to Lais who is her mate.

I'm sure the Hadids will walk, Kendull's career has been over for a while and I'm sure her recent bullshit comments won't be helping her at all, especially because a lot of the girls were truly pissed, so I don't see her walking. Hopefully we won't get Baldwin either. As for Sadie, I think she'll make it because she's been working with the brand recently, Taylor's sister has never done anything for VS so idk, she doesn't have the greatest career out there either so it feels like a long shot.

Castings begin on the 29th, but Barbara is not a newbie so I expect her to show up next week

Pretty sure there will be nudity inside, but I can fully understand why the cover is more tamed. IIRC his previous book also had nudity but the cover was a covered picture, I'm sure there will be better pictures inside in this case as well Nope, we haven't and since that was 15 years ago, it's safe to say we (sadly) never will, I'm pretty sure the same will happen with this book because I don't see any casual fan paying the $1500, shame because the pictures look amazing and we've been teased about this book for four years but oh well, can't have it all.

Sis, do NOT jump the gun like this. Castings starts in two days and the returning girls won't even be there until next Monday, so the odds are the list we currently have is less than half the models that will actually attend the casting. Let's wait until the 29-31 casting calls are over and we'll know for sure the new faces and then on the 3rd we'll get a look at the potential returning girls, but I think already calling out lack of diversity or lack of mature models. As for the Russians, I understand it would be nice of VS to offer them all a spot for this year after the visa issue from last year but why would they? It wasn't their fault they didn't get the visas, and also god only knows how much a woman can change in a year. I'm all for Mayowa (who is not Russian but also didn't get her visa) walking this year but I can see why VS didn't give them a free pass for this year. @PinkCouture is there any way to get this thread locked again like last year?

It's not ridiculous, this is a book that took four years of hard work to make and that includes pictures of probably every relevant model from this decade, so far all the pictures we've seen are new and there will only be 1,000 copies of this book. I think it's a fair price if you are someone who is passionate about photography or someone who is actually in the fashion industry. Most of us just want to see pictures of X or Y girl, hence why paying $1500 would be frankly, quite stupid. But I don't think Russell made this book thinking OMG the folks at bellazon will love this!! I wouldn't be surprised if we actually never get to see the inside of this book considering the price and limited amount of copies.

The Elle editorial is amazing, she looks flawless. Love love love it. Also after seeing her makeup tutorial i am so shocked, i always knew makeup changes your face a lot but girlfriend looks completely different and IMO she looks way better with little to no makeup. Also whoever taught her do contour and overline her lips: i hate you, it really does change her face and not in a good way.

We know Miley is performing for sure, I'd love to see Ariana Grande again because God is a woman is a BOP and would be perfect for the runway. I'm always up for Drake so yes to that but i highly doubt it lol. I'd be fine with Liam Payne as well and that's the type of gig I think he'd be great at. Zayn would also be great and we know VS would love that Zayn+Gigi PR and since he does have an album coming out this year i can totally see it happening.

And my whole point is that maybe if you had read the previous multiple times she has said you have to pick five models she wouldn't be pissed or feel disrespected, but nah, you're just flat out ignoring what she's been saying from literally the day the competition started. Legit, in every new round the rules are written and she's answered before that she won't count votes that are not within the rules. You're just choosing to do whatever the fuck you want, ignore the extremely simple rules and then get pressed when you don't get the answer you want but sure, carry on with your attitude I'm sure it does wonders for you.

I think Vanessa deserves another chance, i think her first walk was okay, I agree she was terrible in Goddesses or whatever the segment was, but the outfit did not fit her and she was closing a segment in her first time walking the biggest show on earth. If she walks again and she's awful, then I'd agree she needs to hit it. But I wouldn't say she's the worst thing we've seen on the runway and I like her VS pictures. As for Constance, I have no idea on the Etam contract but based on last year's show I think VS has decided to get rid of most of the vets (The Jablonskis, Isa, Izabeli, etc) and focus on new faces, which makes sense as it is something that happens every so often. I would love to see Irina Shayk back, she was lovely in 2016 even tho she already had Intimissi so hopefully she'l walk again, highly doubt it tho.

Honestly it's gonna be a load of BS when Elsa doesn't get it this year, none of the veterans really deserve it this year because all three (or two?) of them did not work for the brand at all this year. And out of the NA the only that has been with VS for a longer time than Elsa is Lais, who rightfully got it last year after seven years off being benched by VS, so this year there is no one who deserves it more than my girl. I'm super set on it mostly because I think Elsa is going to leave rather soon and I'd hate to see her FB-less like Doutzen.

Pretty much, she doesn't need to get on anyone's right side. At this point VS needs Barbara more than she needs them, especially now that she's got herself a famous (also extremely nice, handsome, funny and awesome) boyfriend she's even easier to market and a bigger draw.
