There are mixed reports about Kit Harington's return. He was supposedly signed on through season seven, but the season seven thing was just an option. The story now is that he is to return for a single season six episode, which would suggest he is done. However, this might all be a smokescreen by the showrunners to keep people in the dark until next year. What has changed since the start of the show is that Harington has a proper movie career now.

So I saw Hercules a short while ago. It wasn't very good, but I was mostly surprised at how tiny Irina's Shayk's role was (certainly considering that she did feature rather prominently in the promo campaign). She is in three scenes, in two of them a repeated flashback without any dialogue. In the third scene, she has a single line. All three combined probably don't add up to 2 minutes.

It's honestly just turned in D&D fanfiction, and they're doing whatever the hell they want regardless of characterization. It's one thing to deviate from the books, but they're completely manipulating characters against how they're written in order to achieve the storylines they want. This is what bothers me the most.
