I'm guessing that the representatives looked legit. Anyone blaming the models for this fiasco is not really looking closely at how such deals are made. It's not like the models prospect the site and the organization themselves. They just sign a contract and accept the money.

On a variety of issues. e.g. even the Christian Democrats have no interest in changing our gay marriage and euthanasia rights back to their 20th century versions. That entire debate has shifted so much it's not longer a left-right issue (other than in the extreme of the far-right).

I mean beyond that. e.g. most people would identify Democrats as left-wing, but the right-wing of the Democratic party would be very much a right-wing party within the Belgian reality. Of course part of the reason for this is that we don't have a two-party system, thus the spectrum is more fractional.

If the alternative is voting for a negationist, I would give my vote to a literal broom.

Perhaps unattractive isn't the right word for it, but I find Romee Strijd very boring. I can objectively see why people would find her attractive, but she is so bland, so totally lacking in any edge, so devoid of any quirks that might make her stand out.

"Left" and "Right" are pretty meaningless without a proper context anyway. I am right of center within the Belgian context, but ideologically that would put me left of center in a lot of other countries.
