France deserved to win the World Cup, but Deschamps had them playing with the handbrake on all tournament long. With so much attacking talent, they should really play a far more expansive style. Perhaps it will be a repeat of 1998 and 2000, where they went from a very defensive style to win the World Cup to a far more attacking style of play to win the European Championships.

I do hope Candi is making some royalties off her invention. 😛

In the light of the #MeToo movement, I was reminded of her rape allegations in the early 2000s. I now wonder how she would have been treated had she come out with the same accusations now. Back then, she was dismissed as a crazy person.

Well I think the point some are trying to make here is that Elsa and her boyfriend aren't in the same league lookswise. But then I think about my own social circle and really if you look at it purely from a physical appearance standpoint, I know very little couples that are in exactly the same league. By which I mean, judging it purely by looks, there is always one partner who could probably get a better-looking mate if that was the only thing they were looking for. But obviously that isn't the only factor that determines if you end up with someone and then if you stay with them.

Saoirse is a bit short to be playing Mary Queen of Scots. The real Mary was almost 6' tall. Which back in those days was even taller for a woman than it is today. Saoirse is listed as being 5'6, which seems about right.
