  1. Hadid sisters finding themselves threatened by official Israeli government accounts for mildly supportive messages towards Palestinians is a bit over the top.
  2. I haven't followed much of the Will Smith and Jada drama, mostly because I don't really care that much. Haven't there been many rumors about infidelity in the past though? I definitely remember strong rumors about him cheating on his wife with Margot Robbie when they filmed Focus together.
  3. I had totally missed the fact that Jefferson Hack and Anouck Lepere had divorced over a decade ago. A bit deal was made about their marriage at the time.
  4. What other girl do you mean?
  5. Watching Mike Flanagan's new show, THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER. I have seen three episode. So far it's my least favorite of his.
  6. @Cult Icon Are you a fan? Can't remember if you ever posted her or not.
  7. Do you know how much climate change cost Europe in lives and infrastructure costs just in the last few years? It's bonkers to me to find something that is already happening, already costing lives and destroying homes, roads, businesses, ... is deemed less of an issue that some vague and minor threat of nuclear war. A threat that was there for fifty years during the cold war but it was never used an excuse to not care about other stuff.
  8. I don't get why this means I should be more worried about nuclear war today than I was yesterday? Putin nuking Ukraine is a hypothetical. One I don't believe will ever become a reality because he cares too much about his own hide and there is no scenario in which he deploys nukes in which he survives. Meanwhile, climate change is already costing lives and billions in infrastructure each and every year. Just this Summer, parts of Greece had the equivalent of a year's worth of rain in Belgium (so not the annual rainfall in much dryer Greece itself) over the course of two days. But apparently you are insane if you say you care more about those real-life costs that are ongoing and ever more costly than some hypothetical notion of nuclear war. Okay. Maybe I should worry about aliens invading too, while I am at it.
  9. Okay so what would you put the chance at? Strategically it makes zero sense for Russia to use nukes right now.
  10. It is close to 0%. But even if it is higher than that, it isn't already a tangible threat to lives the way climate change is. But I guess those deaths don't count somehow.
  11. There are people already dying from climate change. Including in my own country (Belgium). https://www.vrt.be/vrtnws/en/2021/07/18/from-railroads-to-tap-water-the-impact-of-the-floods-is-huge/ And that isn't even taking into consideration the infrastructure costs, which are massive too. The estimates of one billion in this old piece turned out to be laughably low.
  12. Well, how many people died in the last year due to extreme weather events caused by global warming and how many died in a nuclear attack?
  13. I have to say the level of discourse in U.S. politics has degraded almost in real time over the course of the past ten to fifteen years in a manner that is almost impossible to wrap one's head around.
  14. She's gorgeous alright. What is her real name?
  15. Is that the Polish YT try-on girl with the nice legs?
  16. I remember one of Johanna Lundback last social media posts before she shut down all of her public accounts was complaining about companies still calling her for modelling work when she had made it clear to them she was retired. I believe one of those companies was Nelly.
  17. She actually looks a bit like Kate Li in the middle of those three pictures, that's who I thought it was at first.
  18. Models who just vanish from the industry overnight are weird. I remember Johanna Lundback just stopped working almost instantly too.
  19. It's weird they didn't think they would get backlash for that post. The thread is just person and person calling out the hypocrisy.
  20. These institutions are truly shameless. Penn trying to take credit for Dr. Kariko's work whilst actually taking her off the tenure track because they did not deem her research to be of faculty quality at the time. She was successful in spite of them.
  21. Is she close friends with Bryana?
  22. Only just started on Act II. I'm like one hour into the Shadowlands. I wish I had more time to play it, I am only around 45 hours into it. My usual group besides Tav is Shadowheart, Karlach and Lae'zel. I have been bringing Lae'zel along a lot because the last big subplot I played through was the Githyanki crèche.
  23. Pretty sure that is Anthi Fakidari. https://www.instagram.com/anthifakidari/
  24. I am not a big fan so never bothered to notice this before; her walk is really janky. Especially for someone who has been in the industry for so long. And it's not like this is the norm for models with her type of background. Both of the Hadid sisters have a proper walk.
  25. Watching Ahsoka yesterday the thing I most realized is how little of a spectacle any new SW still is. It used to be a huge deal to get new SW content. And this was even the case for a few years after the Disney purchase of Lucas' rights. Especially the last five or so years though, they have milked the IP too much. And really apart from the first season of The Mandalorian and Andor (which I both liked though for different reasons), it hasn't really yielded anything too memorable.
