She's been big in latin music for years, but hasn't had the crossover American mainstreem success of some others of her genre. It seems American mainstreem is the bridge of worlds so to speak in that you can be king or queen of the world in some places and not known much in others whereas B-list American artists are known all over the world. I had never heard of Cheryl Cole before Bellazon and despite Johny Depp's popularity had never heard of Vanessa Pardis in my life before Bellazon . Yeah, its nice even though it looks hot (that is in a literal temperature way ) , but nice style wise anyway . But anyway, its almost impossible to please a lot of the core fans of a book series in general I guess . I've never read or seen it myself but I guess I'll give it a shot .
