This. Although I have a feeling if it's true they broke up she will be dating someone new before February is over. That's her style. But take some time for yourself girl... I feel like the inability to be alone is what enables her to repeatedly date men that turn out to be scum. I'm so happy she's been so active though. I think we will for sure see her at multiple Oscar parties. Is she supposed to be at the superbowl in Atlanta for an event or anything? She's a sports fan so she might go for the hell of it. She seemed to be more interested in him than he was in her (I really don't know how that's possible when adriana is adriana) but really it's a possibility. As long as she is moving on from this snake it's got to be a step in the right direction. I think metin unfollowing her is the strongest sign that it's over for good. He would never do that. He loves the attention. He would only do it if they're done past the point of being able to fix things.

Ah yes she looks great in white. I just want to see her do something other than red lips this time around! I loved her white dress and make up at the Brazil foundation gala in Miami, it was in 2013. She looked amazing! The dress worked so well for her too. Although she might want something slightly classier for an oscar party. I think if I remember right, she wore this dress backwards? I really enjoy when she takes risks in her style. edit: I LOVED her make up for the VS event in the second picture too. Ah she looked amazing at so many VS events! Have to say most of the time they got the make up right on Adriana. Their make up on Adriana in some of the later years of the VS show has not been my favorite, but most of the VS events she did. I've just loved the look.

Yes agreed. Instead of complaining about redundancy, bring up a new topic. If you guys are genuine in your criticisms and not just lurking here to comment on redundancy, then by all means please contribute a different topic. There are a few people that complain about the redundancy that I think are acting in bad faith but I'm sure most of you aren't. So please join the conversation so when you do point out that the metin talk is getting out of hand, it can be taken more constructively. To start ; I'm still extremely eager to see her on the red carpet at Oscar parties. I don't want to hold my breath in respect to her going, but she has gone the last few years and she looked so amazing. I want to see something similar to her 2017 vanity fair look. Golden goddess.

Why are some of you so over zealous about redundancy here? Most of you only post here to point out that you don't like the redundancy. Then don't read the forum? Every attempt is made to discuss projects, events, and other things when possible. Adriana had a pretty slow year last year and in the stretches she didn't, the conversation was about the work she was actually doing. It's literal news when she breaks up and reconciles with Metin. Yes it happens that frequently. The need to police the conversation here comes from some misplaced righteousness over nothing. What's the problem? The redundancy is stopping Adriana fans from visiting this forum? What are you guys trying to protect? Certain members from not feeling annoyed? Skip the comments or block the people that you feel don't discuss anything else. During the VS show and after, this forum was flooded with talk almost strictly about Adriana's work, because it was there to speak about. She's been in hiding and there are dramatic announcements via social media with both of them reversing course. Let people bitch about that if they please. Don't partake if it is so bothersome. Good god it's a public forum. It shouldn't trigger you to the point of being shook about it. As pointed out, there was an attempt to change the conversation. You all came in here and brought it back to Metin. I'm in full agreement that it has become pointless to speak about her relationship and I'm going to make every effort not to. Some people are going to disagree with me. Their posts shouldn't be enough to induce a heart attack and laughably redundant rants about how redundant others are.

On a different note. I love the photos Marko shares of Valentina and Sienna. As Valentina gets older, she's looking more and more like Adriana. She also seems pretty tall for her age. Not too surprising since Marko is about 6'7.

I don't really believe in astrological signs amounting to anything but I will agree that she victimizes herself pretty frequently. I think I said this exact thing like a year ago but really, she's almost 40. She has autonomy. It's just unfortunate that she makes the same mistakes over and over again. We've said it in every which way possible. Her own friends that were practically family said these things to her super early on. And she just cut them off and still doesn't talk to them. She's stubbornly blind on the worst things. I agree though. It has become pointless to care.

I don't think it's a stretch anymore to believe she would marry him. She has seen the worst and is still committed to him so it's possible. I do hope for her sake though there's a prenup. Girl makes me worry a little bit because she seems like the type that would dive all in without one, and Metin is... well, Metin... snake charmer smooth talker. He would only encourage it. Hell. I'm not quoting the posts I'm responding to because they're too long and I guess I'm sort of responding to all the comments, but I think it really is time to just let it go. It's hard to do. Despite some people thinking that the discussion around Metin is unnecessary and the criticism somehow unjust. It's true that they really put a spotlight on their relationship themselves when they are so publicly dramatic about the highs and lows, but most importantly-- it just is what it is. She has indeed made a terrible choice. At this point, it's difficult to argue that this opinion is a subjective one even. It almost seems like fact if you consider all that this creep has brought into her world. But they've been together since what? June of 2017? Whatever the reason might be, she has chosen the snake oilman and I think I'm getting tired of listening to myself even care. It's exhausting. It kind of seems like their most recent coordinated post is a response to 'the haters'. Which always gets muddled with her fans, especially fans on BZ. Anytime her fans say something she doesn't like she takes it to heart. But I'm afraid that we might be actually giving in to Metin's agenda (since he clearly watches this forum like a hawk). The more that she reads that's true it seems like the more defensive she might be becoming. And the easier it is probably for Metin to convince her that the world is against her. She did this in the past too. Anytime anyone makes an honest evaluation that's not a positive one, she isn't for it. She does it to her friends too. As we know she has cut out people that actually cared to say something other than what she wanted to hear. At this rate I'm just going to assume they'll get married. We've all been here before. I'm just really tired and feel kind of dumb for thinking that she ever matures mentally or emotionally. It just isn't going to happen. She's probably going to marry this man. I hope I'm wrong but watch an engagement unfold this year. I'll have to say I called it. Just have to stop caring about this. Can't help anyone that doesn't want to help themselves TBH. What are the chances that adriana goes to the Oscars parties this year? She served us two looks last year. Hoping for a repeat. She didn't go to the globes but I don't think she went to that last year either. Here's to hoping she makes an appearance. Also, I hope she invests in an endeavor of some sort. Because with her having retired from VS and with how slow things were most of last year, feels like it wouldn't be too hard for her to fade away from the public eye. And as discussed she doesn't offer much on ig. And when she does post a lot on ig I feel it's usually in stretches of time. Maybe when she's feeling up or empowered. The puma contract is great but hoping for a bit more. We're only a week into the new year so I don't want to assume how the full year will go but it doesn't look promising. What is happening with the business consultant she met with last year and posted about? I thought she was gearing up to make a move. Tbh, I didn't think that reality contest host gig was for her. She looked beatiful but for me that was a little cringeworthy. Not sure if it was her or the show and its concept in general. But I would like to see her get into some sort of business. Something she's passionate about. I would imagine it would be boxing related.

The videos and pictures of her working out in front of the in and out were definitely obnoxious. But overall this whole episode has been more lame than anything else. I got the impression that her post repeating that she doesn't eat there was her attempt at a sly dig at some of the models that post selfies of themselves with burgers or junk food that they may not necessarily eat. The attempt fell flat. And she shouldn't be doing that as someone in the industry anyway. It's true, some models probably pose with a bowl with pasta to make it all look more effortless. But others might just have a more forgiving metabolism or are up for putting in some extra gym time to work it off and live a little. Kelly needs to stop.

I don't look into the fact that he hasn't unfollowed her as something unusual (maybe a few days ago I did though). To be honest, a lot of men on social media, women too, don't have it as one of the first things on their mind to unfollow their significant others after a break up. Adriana just lives by the following and unfollowing and it might give insight into her behavior. But for Metin, it perhaps is intentional to keep the media guessing but that part may not have even crossed his mind. What is intentional though is that he hasn't made a statement at all one way or the other, and he isn't even posting. I would have thought by now he'd at the very least post a picture of his book next to a pair of sunglasses or his book next to a coffee mug, like he does every day. I feel that he is staying silent to let the media keep guessing. Because as acknowledged, even the speculation of their relationship status is more press than he would ever otherwise get. He's going to milk that. Also, a part of me is kind of scared that maybe they're just enduring a rough patch and aren't officially broken up. Her post today doesn't really confirm anything about that one way or another. They're both off the grid and this post was made essentially out of no where. I'm just hoping we didn't read too much into her deleting pictures/unfollowing him, because that's the only thing we've gotten so far. And the posts she made. But she has made those before and still stuck with whoever she was dating. It's just hard to tell with her.

Why are there people on here that think that Adriana fans would be unhappy with who she dates no matter who she dates? There is so much to say about Metin if the concern that fans had were superficial. No one is ridiculing her for choosing Metin over the way he looks or because he's not wealthy enough and we think she needs to date a billionaire. These are things that are sometimes noted sure, but most of us think it's a good quality of hers that she's not superficial. The reason that her fans are so concerned with her relationship status with Metin is because he has proven every step of the way to be corrosive and exploitative. Some of you guys make it seem like we're on here bitter about who she's dating as though we're jealous or want her to find the "perfect companion". As though we're Bieber fans that lose it every time he dates someone. Seriously. Maybe I'm wrong and I haven't been on here long enough to observe what her fans on here are like through past relationships. But it's not like she's picked winners. When she's dating someone like Joe, and posting / exhibiting signs of abuse, in the case of Joe she actually followed domestic abuse accounts, it's pretty difficult to ignore. Again, can't speak for everyone but I doubt as many people were so vocal about her dating Edelman, although he was less than ideal in my opinion, I was still happy with how happy she seemed in that relationship. Despite the fact that he seemed scummy as hell. It's just weird to chalk Metin complaints up to fans being obsessive, after all that has happened in the year and half she's been with him. You can argue that there's no point in beating a dead horse. But the fact that some of you guys are so offended by repeat topics/conversations is just kind of unnecessary. Close this topic? For what? No one is saying anything slanderous or even being uncivil to one another. It doesn't seem that the policing is warranted.

I wish she would have addressed the actual articles about them breaking up and added something like "Please respect out privacy at this time" Lol just to both confirm the break up and as an extra little f you to Metin But I don't think her only addressing that portion means anything as it relates to their break up. But if we were to draw any lines, her not commenting on the speculation about their break up is a positive. And I agree with all of you that the fact that Metin hasn't said a word about this or taken up his usual antics in these situations is pretty telling. This part is me just speculating, but I really *hope* that her post today wasn't made because they are in the process of getting closure and he's guilt tripping her or bringing up the media and etc (because that would mean there's still an opening for Metin, however unlikely). I just hope that she made the post without any persuasion from any angle.

After Adriana and Julian broke up, even though the break up was kind of immature in terms of sentiment, they both went their own way because they had successful careers and shit to do. Metin has been banking on her so hard. She's one of the best known supermodels in the world, and this girl was promoting an article that this man wrote for Vogue. AN ARTICLE!!! That's the amount of hype her can generate even with adriana. He's got nothing to lose and he's going to start major drama. We should be thankful she has no kids with this man. Cardi is in a tough spot in having to keep offset in her life in some capacity. Adriana was able to break free in a clean way. But this manipulative douche is still going to bring the bullshit. I hope her team is ready for it. He's going to linger around and do everything in his power to try to get back in her good graces. We've said it before. He's cunning. I hope she really moves on and stays away.

But I remember months ago when I and other users were shunned for pointing out the obvious about metins family and how they were creating fake accounts to mess with Tamara and adriana's relationship because she was openly disapproving of his relationship. His family has consistently been creepy as hell. His dad follows the adriana lima tag. Which is one thing. But he also follows an "adrianalimafans" tag, it's always been and remains clear that metin reads this forum. His family too most likely. They're not just leeches. They're sophisticated leeches. Months ago I said this and I think it's going to be the case. The danger is not just in dating metin. The aftermath is going to suck for reasons other than just loneliness. He's a snake. He's not going to let this break up fall easy. I guarantee that he's going to create a lot of drama post break up. He's messy. And he's going to find any way to capitalize. His tumblr page gave us so much insight into how fake he is about his eat pray love be a good person bs. Will be watching his movements like a hawk. He's a snake through and through. But even with this said I'd like a public statement from her team announcing this break up. Let's officially consider him the past.

Oh thank fucking god. Metin has been such a negative presence in her life I ultimately stopped posting here because she was doing little to no work and he was impossible to ignore. And frankly, her weakness in allowing him to do the shit he did really changed my opinion of her. For her sake I'm thrilled that she's finally seeing the light. She's also done with VS and went out with a bang and an undeniably beatiful and well deserved acknowledgment. VS is tanking and she's in such a good spot right now. Keep getting your shit together and start 2019 off in the way that you deserve Adri!!!! Of course he's not going to unfollow her anytime soon. Even the mere speculation by the press and public about whether or not they broke up is more press than he would otherwise ever get lol. He's low enough to ride the tide for as long as possible.
