Well you can always count on adriana to share a corny quote about needing to be respected/not wanting attention from men every time she gets into a fight with the person she's seeing or breaks up. And on queue- she did. Hopefully both of them are fine. They kept their relationship pretty private for the most part and it's tough to tell how invested she was or wasn't. But adriana is on fire this year... If they're not just fighting, Upward and onward girl 💅😍🔥

The instagram story Adriana posted with that long caption from some girl's post -- I hate to be petty but, "I need a man who is striving for excellence financially, because I don't need a financial burden" @metinhara 😂 Ok ok. It's longer than just that quote and probably not aimed at him. I won't read into it her post too much, but she seems to only really make those kinds of quote posts/stories about men when she's having men related troubles. She's still following Emir. And we know that she has no problem unfollowing and following again for even the slightest of issues. So I'm sure all is ok. I get the impression that she and Emir are sort of casually dating anyway and that neither is all in. If so, I think that's good for her for a while!

I'm not feeling most of the candids from this event The video of gigi and adri was cute though ❤️ and she seemed to have a lot of fun.

I didn't misinterpret anything. VS would seem to most as being a way for models to make money. Few people would regard it as something other than a means to make money and achieve a status within modeling. She received a lot of pushback for those statements and the timing of them. "Empty cause might be subjective, but there is a base line interpretation when you're a celebrity and you make a statement about not taking your clothes off after owing your career to a lingerie brand. I don't have an issue with her posting the images she did. Her caption in fact spoke to the opposite of an empty cause. But when she made that statement, the overwhelming response was people mentioning that she pretty much owes what she has to taking off her clothes for the sake of making money/vs. The backlash was strong enough to where people here pointed out that people in the industry took issue with her commentary. I don't agree that adriana shouldn't pose nude images because some people might feel uncomfortable.

The second photo violates instagram's terms but the most they can do is remove it. Can she really be expected to have to consider all the children on Instagram before she posts a nude photo of herself? If a kid is on instagram (and by the way, they shouldn't be and it's largely on their parents) they're likely to be exposed to worse. In terms of the nude photo and her past statements. I think the issue in general is that she shouldn't have made that statement when she did. It was in poor taste and belied the way in which she has amassed her fortune and status. We all called it out at the time. It was a misstep. But the caption does make it overwhelmingly clear that the pictures for Russell's book were related to a good cause. It's not really a contradictory thing for her to do. That said, even though people should be smart enough to evaluate her statement in full before jumping on her, you know that they won't. And I think a large part of good PR/media relations is anticipating a backlash and knowing that it might be a bad look in light of her past comments and the stupidity of the outrage mob. However, I don't think this will be too bad for her. Anyone else wish those photos were in better quality though? Lol

This is peak adriana in terms of how active she is on social media. Almost every time I get on Instagram there's a new instagram story from her. I love it. I know her page is never going to be purely about the aesthetic appeal and I've always kind of liked that. Her posts are still somewhat random but we are seeing so much more of her. 🥰

A lot of models posted this. Not that it makes it any better or worse tbh. It's definitely silly. It's also something that has been going around for ages but for some reason got a lot of attention the last couple of days.

^ honestly, her following a dozen overtly handsome men could also be her being petty on social media. Emir seems to follow a lot of female models/attractive women. And adriana has proven to be jealous/petty in relationships. Just speculating of course.

Is adriana studying a script for an audition for a movie role? She posted a story the other day about how she's studying / would be for days. She also seemed to be studying in some of those candids on the beach. Would be awesome to see her in a movie and have lines!

Just finished reading the last few pages. In respect to the on going debate about whether she was asked to leave or chose to -do we know for certain that VS knew a year in advance that they were canceling the show? Their numbers have been on a steady decline in recent years, but I also don't think that's a decision that's typically made and announced to models so soon after receiving the numbers for 2018 viewers. A lot can change in the span of a few months and it would be a strange strategy for a corporation to tell models a year in advance that the event that VS is most known for wasn't happening. I don't really buy that adriana knew and that's why she left. There are so many leaps being made there. I think it's possible that she could have maybe left for other reasons. I just find it unlikely that she made a strategic move based on the direction the company was headed. Personally, I think it was maybe somewhat mutual. In most recent times, VS primarily used Adriana for the VSFS and not much else. With the steady decline in numbers for the show, an angel contract where adriana is still being paid millions, would probably be something they consider in maybe not wanting to hold on/keep. What's the point if the viewership is so low? Not even adriana is going to save that hot mess. I think adriana, probably missed the days of being able to do more at vs, but still enjoyed the brand and walking the show and simply put, the paycheck! All I'm saying is it could have been a suggestion from both ends. Or a suggestion from VS that adriana had no real hesitation with.
