When is VS going to make Blanca an angel? IMO She looked the best at the show this year. Divine. The black and blue outfit especially. What a goddess. Her look is unique. She's young. Her body is ridiculous. What are they waiting for.

I agree about Metin too. His comment on her post: "I am so proud of you my wise soul..." My god. Come on! You know he helped her come to this realization and then played the WOW Do you feel that way? I know this is off topic but I didn't get a chance to say it during the show I thought she looked beautiful this year. That black outfit was beautiful on her skin and body. I still keep waiting for her make up and hair to look as good as it does during other times through out the year but I have realized they will never do that! The last time they did was 2005.

This whole thing is just annoying. I honestly feel like Metin is tricky. Ever hear of the phrase "make her think it was her idea". All of her posts about her spiritual journey and realizations... Maybe she won't have to put out a statement because maybe people won't react to it the way we have. But then again the post was so vague that she might have to end up doing it. But I have to re-emphasize that I don't get it. She has decided to make a change and she won't be taking off her clothes for empty causes anymore. Sooooooo when she takes off her clothes for the next shoot for VS... I hope she considers money to be a worthy cause. edit: actually NEVERMIND! All of the comments on her instagram seem to be people thinking she's going to retire. she'll probably have to make that statement.

Guys. Join me to an alternate reality... Adriana actually thought all of this out. She spoke to Ed and the VS team about her decision. They didn't push back too much at all because although they'd like her to stay a few more years we all know they have new girls on deck ready to ship. Adriana has been working for a while on new projects that she has yet to announce (in addition to and beyond ABS). She also is going to take her post and turn it into a platform kind of like Cameron russell and her ted talk about the industry, except Adriana actually has some star power related to the industry and she'll be held up as having walked away from VS. Now back to reality. If she didn't mean VS. The best thing she can do now is put out a statement about how empowering VS is and how she was misunderstood and how she is going to stay with VS until she's 40 and how they make women feel confident and sexy and encourage body positivity (even though that's a joke). And basically all the BS she can come up with.

VS does suck. But there is a FINE line between kissing their ass and what she just did today (if in fact she did what I suspect she did)

Here's the thing her post says she received a call for the possibility of filming a sexy video. Did she even mention nudity? Not quite. But uh all she does is star in sexy videos for VS. Literally her job. I think that if she only wanted to speak about nudity there was no need for that post and all the insecurity/women/body type realization that came after. but who knows! If she stays at VS, she's a hypocrite. If she leaves this way, there's no words for the ugliness of how she did it. Lose-lose. Girl needs help.

But is there a point in posting that whole thing if she just meant nude? What's the real distinction? You won't show your nipples anymore because you had an awakening? I mean I want to believe that she didn't want to implicate VS but how silly would it be to make a post over a request to do something nude when you've done nude shoots before and barely do them now. I don't get it.

It's almost worse if she DIDN'T mean VS because then she's just kind of brainless? She's a lingerie model she must know the implications of this. Lingerie models shouldn't write vague comments about not wanting to take their clothes off and insecurity and so on. But if it's true that she unfollowed Ed a long time ago... it seems more plausible that she doesn't mean VS. But that makes less sense? What difference does it make whether you're doing an advent love video in lingerie or shooting lingerie for vs? I mean the love video with her in the shower didn't show her nude. Like souled-out said they don't even allow nudity on instagram. It seems like her post would be MORE embarrassing if she made that fuss over one request to do something nude, because like others have pointed out it's not like she does a lot of nude work anyway. Just refuse it and leave it at that.

Right? And it's inevitably going to end. This guy seems emotionally and mentally abusive I M O. If not abusive, he is in the very least manipulative.

I still don't get why she would unfollow Ed? there's no rational reason for it if you guys are SURE she did this today... it makes whether she wants to leave vs or not irrelevant because it's just dirty and stupid.

Yes true. I don't know about her personal relationships with friends maybe they won't say anything or maybe she won't listen I just think she is different than people like new vs angels or alessandra who have mostly industry friends so I thought there was some positive in that. It's scary to me that this seems like a sudden decision for adriana. why is someone or anything able to impact her so emotionally to do something insane like this? Even if it's not metin and it's just a strong emotional urge or realization. be a smart person! think about it for a few days. think about it for some time. it seems like this post came impulsively like her unfollowing and following. she didn't think through the consequences at all. just last week or two weeks ago she was talking about how she'll be a vs angel until she's 40 and now she has had an awakening... which is ok! it's her body and life but why like this?! she is the best angel they've ever had with the best legacy. why like this!

I always get those bad vibes from taylor hill and candice in terms of their negative energy for adriana. I know the ridiculousness of my words I am maybe fully wrong but just saying they're probably very accepting of it. for candice with no adriana the fantasy bra is hers next year lmao (even though fantasy bra does not matter imo) I wish it's not true that Adriana is leaving like this. I hope she's better than this! VS has made her entire career and made her a household name.

Adriana always seems like a follower. in this way she seems different than models like gisele or miranda to me. she always seems to follow someone's lead, but with this metin character I don't know what it is it seems like it's so obvious that this is all due to him and his reblogging her post makes her look that much worse. it just seals the deal to make it clear he was the guiding force behind her thinking. it looks bad right? a lingerie model for over half of her life realizes this due to a turkish guru she has been dating for a couple months? it's very troubling can no one of her friends help? am I wrong she seems like many of her friends are not famous? I thought non famous people are more eager to tell you the TRUTH

I'm probably wrong but notice all the vs angels encouraging her post or egging her on. They probably want her gone because they know while she's around they aren't much. I feel that candice is especially happy with the potential of this. This is her right now: (ok maybe not after she had her child she seems mellow or different but I am half joking)

Do you think this is really the case? That is quite sad if so. She is probably the most beautiful woman in the world and that level of insecurity would be shocking and also sad.

I'm so embarrassed for Adriana. Just commenting because I saw the article and had to check here to see if you guys think she's leaving VS. I'm not here to judge what someone's personal decision is, if she wants to leave she should be able to. But to do it in this way? After this company literally made her career? That says a lot about character, no matter how you spin it and no matter whether or not she means well. It's just devastating. Also, is there any doubt that this Metin character is using his spirituality to disguise his possessiveness and jealousy? No matter the religion, it is something that is common in men that preach religion or spirituality the way Metin does. This man didn't go to the show and I doubt it's because Adriana didn't want him there, seems like he is slowly brainwashing her and she is a grown woman that allows it to happen. My thoughts are with y'all. It seems like Adriana is always looking for something she feels she's missing but always looking in the wrong places! Praying for her.
