He and his family are committed to acting like adriana and Metin are family and going to only get married/are so close and strong as a couple. But it's all one sided. Adriana has rarely been showing that kind of acknowledgment for him lately (keyword lately) and it feels like he knows it and he's getting more and more desperate to spin the news that they're stronger than ever.

I'm sorry for posting so many times / separately. But last one. I love this picture because it just explains adriana/metin in the way her fans and even the general public sees them. Most people that look like adriana or that are in a position similar to her would laugh at someone like metin even trying to get close. But she's not like that. She's open and tries to see past the superficial. Yet Metin can't know a good deal when he sees her and has to try to employ all these shady tactics to play himself up. It's not good enough that she's good hearted and committed to him he needs more. And in this picture he looks like the obsessed creepo that he is. She's trying to have a good time and he's plotting. What's new. And before anyone says it. Or course I don't know what's happening in this picture. It's not an actual analysis of the moment. I'm just saying what the whole world is thinking.

It's also incredibly weird that Metin's mom follows an Instagram account about adriana and Metin. It's strange. I completely get following Adriana and it's normal to admire Adriana. She has a lot of traits that I think parents would admire in a girlfriend for their son. But even without the incriminating comment his mom made its weird to me that she follows an account like that.

How telling that there's not one picture from the party of Adriana even intentionally touching Metin? Except for the one with the stupid ring? The only other ones are of group photos where Adriana's shoulders touch his. Isn't it odd that during a nye party where so many people took so many photos we haven't seen one yet of Adriana all over him? Actually forget all over him. Just one with a simple touch? Or them together intentionally and speaking to each other? Or a nye kiss? It's not like the people around her respect her privacy so much that if it was captured it wouldn't be posted. Hell, Metin would find a way to orchestrate a way to have that picture posted if it existed.

This is the thing that is most damning to me and very unacceptable. She's promoting a blatant lie and there is no excuse for it. There is just no justification. Assuming they are not engaged, and they obviously aren't, Adriana is not going to react that way to a real proposal. There would be videos and a celebration and etc. And assuming this is the case how in the world would Metin's sister not know this? Please. She's close enough to Metin that she has met Adriana and Adriana follows her on instagram. She's obviously close to her brother if they were really engaged she would know it. She knows it's not true and she's still promoting this falsehood. And random accounts on instagram are using this as proof that Adriana is engaged. And you can't blame them because they don't follow what's happening the way we do. Obviously if adrianas boyfriends sister is acting like random bullshit is true people have no reason not to believe it. Conniving. Manipulative. Shady as hell. Edit. It's his MOTHER not sister. Sorry! My God. Even worse!!! These people... I hate speaking poorly of older people but smh.

I would argue though does it really matter if tamara wasn't close to adriana before the divorce? I don't think it matters in this context. They've been close in recent years. And it's not like Adriana dating someone is something that would change that because tamara was even following julian edelman when adriana dated him (right)? For me I think a better argument would just be that maybe they just have been busy. I don't believe this so much because tamara is I believe in ny now? or at least in the us. Not like she is in Serbia and it's a little strange that there is no indication of them having been together at all for some time when there used to always be. And adriana used to show support by even doing things like liking tamara's instagram posts. It just seems like they have zero contact at all now. Yes it may be true that tamara initiated that or wanted that, I'm not accusing adriana. Another thing that makes me cast some doubt on metin playing a role is what kind of scenario would cause that? I mean we don't know tamara but is she someone that would get involved in such a way where she would feel so strongly about someone adriana dates to try and interfere? not sure.

At least they're away from Metin! I always love seeing photos of Marko with Valentina and Sienna. I know it's not special to say he seems like a loving dad in the pictures as most dads are or should absolutely be that way. But it's just always sweet to see and good to know that they seem to be a priority to him before anything and everything else.

I'm not sure which friends are being referenced in general. But isn't it so that adriana cuts people off frequently? I've read that here. Even something about her cutting off her friends/extended family on the basis of them being critical or disagreeing with her on things. I'm not sure whether it's true or not. I'm curious. I would say the Tamara thing is suspect for sure. I don't know who many of Adriana's friends are but Tamara I think was a little bit more than a friend to her. She was with her often and she's also her ex-husband's sister who she seemed close to for years after the divorce.

Sophie, I get your point and agree. But I think the person that made the comment is fixated on probably the wrong things. So if we're to count her disassociating from Tamara as minor. And her odd behavior during nye as minor, how many other things are there to consider that are even more direct and irrefutable? A boatload of things! And you mentioned some of it. Like the Instagram post. I think that it's important to note that even if people didn't like who adriana has dated before, there has never been so much unanimous agreement and concern. Not just demonstrated here but even people that don't keep up with her outside of the vsfs can pick up on it. And that's very telling. I've called metin a leprechaun or Methead a few times because he looks like those things, but I'm probably going to stop because it distracts from the point. People have mentioned it before. It's not about his looks or lack of status or money. I'm not sure how much money metin has but adriana has dated a not very well known boxer at a gym. I think it says a lot about her character that she doesn't chase money or fame over anything else. She may have dated celebs but it's not what she actively seeks. I point this out because there is just a stark difference between her dating someone we don't like vs. someone that has routinely and repeatedly shown themselves to be a danger. That's not an exaggeration. There's other kinds of danger other than physical. I think that there is also a lot of credibility in how worried her fans are because they're not ordinary fans of random celebrities. I'm not including myself here because there's a lot I don't know about adriana or her habits, but most of the people active on here post in her thread daily and have for years. I'm not implying that it means they're always correct or that people have to give them special consideration. But I do think that their insights on behavioral patterns and countless other things are pretty impartial. Not skewed to their feelings about who she is dating. And I think that it just says a lot about this situation.

^ I introduced the comment about the niqab to highlight how possessive metin is and how he wants her to be modest to a degree that fits his standards. We know he's Jewish. And we also know adriana isn't literally going to be wearing a niqab. You're definitely free to think that some of what is being said on here is far fetched. But the things you've brought up have been topics of conversation on here that aren't main points to what some of us are saying. It's also important to view things in context. Of course very little of what has been said is damning on its own. Yet when you combine all of these things it paints a picture that's difficult to deny.

The first part -- exactly!!! I said something similar in the last post too. Maybe if her friends or someone stage an intervention. Like you said even her agent. I'm not sure it would work but she would be forced to confront this in an additional way. Even if she decides to ignore her friends she still has to even for a few moments consider what theyre saying. And about the party. I love Adriana's vibe. She's just trying to have a good time. She was dressed so casually and just didn't care. Metin can't be bothered to even pretend he's having a good time. But you know what? I think that his inability sometimes to appear normal or be able to fake through a moment he's uncomfortable with is kind of telling. For me this is slightly different than his manipulation. His manipulation involves him and Adriana and his plans crumble when others get involved. Even if others are involved in a non direct way like comments on social media. He feels threatened very, very quickly and easily.

And he's still liking and responding to comments on that corny harry potter scarf picture of his. Days later. Get a life man. You're with a woman that in any other circumstance you wouldn't be allowed within 500 feet of. And you're out here refreshing instagram to find opinions from your deluded cult followers about how adriana is so lucky to have found YOU. Can one of Adriana's friends please stage an intervention. I'm sure it wouldn't do shit. But for the love of god.

I have a headache after going through all the material in terms of Methead's friends and what they've posted and this whole debacle. I think that it was kind of obvious that Adriana was trying to party and have a good time like a normal human being and Metin was there to at best -- just exist. And at worst -- police her and just observe so he can passive aggressively take it out on her through further spiritual manipulation. "Hey Adriana let's do a meditation session together. Focus on your breathing and think about how women might feel pressure from seeing you on the dance floor like that " aka I don't want you drunk and around other men even if I'm around. I N S E C U R E. Also one thing I felt in going through our comments in the last few threads, and I do this too so I'm including myself. Most of our comments are about what Metin does and his agenda. And obviously he's heinous and manipulative and we're all going to feel less concerned when he's gone. But it's clear to me that we sometimes have a tendency of framing things only in the context of what he does as though this entire thing is initiated by force or adriana has no options. I know we talk about her being blindly in love and so we acknowledge it. But I feel a little disheartened today because it's just exhausting to think about the fact that she is the age she is and she acts this way. I'm not trying to blame her. People have reasons for the way they act and behave. But if you're continuously making toxic decisions while you're responsible for the well being of two daughters AND yourself, I don't know. It's upsetting. Metin is selfish and he's out there playing the game for himself. I wish he was a better person but you can't control what others do and that's why it's important to be able to control yourself and have a solid core. Adriana is letting this happen. At the cost of her brand. Maybe even her reputation if she keeps doing things like that no more nudity Instagram post. She's even letting him get close to her family. I have said it before even if it's not Metin. Have SOME standards. Just stop. I don't even know what to say anymore or if there is a point in tracking what he does. He's only going to get worse. And adriana will turn the other cheek because for her the worst thing in the world is to be alone. Which is something that I personally think is an incredibly weak trait. I know she has been abandoned as a child and there's mental issues there. But girl, work on yourself. Therapy. We can change the way we think no matter what age we are. She's not old she's in her 30s. She needs to work on herself.

Guys I wanted to just have a nice night and not worry about this mess and then I saw that picture on instagram. SIGH. I don't think that they are getting married. Even ADRIANA won't make that kind of poor decision. But truthfully, this is exactly what Metin wants. I mean come on. The blow up costume ring, he is at a stage now where he is planting rumors strategically. It's unbelievable. And if this somehow ends up being true and Adriana is getting engaged to be married after 6 months-- wow. I would just be speechless. The fact that it's Metin makes it even worse, but no matter who it is. If you're getting married after 6 months given that youre a divorcee with two children and 36 years old. Smh. I feel that with Marko she was generally younger and given that it was a five year stretch, kind of hard to analyze there. But with that boxer guy, she always looked older and just drained. Like very tired. In the pictures I've seen from cannes. I don't think it was styling because all the pics I saw of them she was not beaming. I don't know that I know enough to see the trend. But whatever is going on she looks

I'm actually more and more disgusted with him. Someone before has mentioned that he thinks he can heal people with his hands and energy. I never took it literally until today. Seriously dude? I really don't have any words. It explains everything. He actually thinks he's the cure to cancer.

There's no excuse for liking that. He should contest it if it's not the case or at the very least delete it. NOT like it and only delete it once it's pointed out. Shameful.

Right. Until it gets to the stage of a full on Burka. And I want to just clarify something because I think in previous posts we've all spoken a lot about how Metin is manipulative and it's a common trait of people that are from his culture. Some people on IG have said that people are being racist or stereotypical towards Metin and that's why they dislike him. And that's just the furthest thing from the truth. I think that what we mean is not to imply that men from Turkey are controlling. Period. Controlling men exist all over the world, there are certain regions/nations where it's more prominent due to a lot of different kinds of influences. Not simply the fact that he's from Turkey. It's not even inherent JUST to Abrahamic religions (judaism, christianity, islam). But a lot of times those that have a very strict and linear understanding of these religions often times are predisposed to treating women as though their sole purpose in life is to exist for their boyfriend/husband but conceal themselves to the gaze of others. And it's not even just religion. There are other nations in the world where the demand and public sentiment is just the same. Take India for example, the majority of the population is not Muslim. If anything they're Hindu or a religion that falls into eastern philosophy, yet there is a culture that still encourages that women need be modest and if they're not, they're shamed. And in these societies the men are trained (whether by society or directly) to be able to influence women into thinking that it's FOR their well being. When reality, no matter what patriarchal culture we're talking about, based through religion or otherwise, what the men are really saying is: I'm insecure. If other men can look at you it leads to a potential interaction with you/further desire. I don't want that chance/to lose you. So be modest. It's ALWAYS always insecurity cloaked in virtue. But the problem for Metin, he is with a lingerie model. Tough luck (hopefully, if Adriana doesn't go along with all this)

Or even if it's not, right? I mean Love magazine did that Easter video with her, which I thought was super tacky but it was hot and she looked amazing and as a fan I enjoyed it. I'm glad she didn't do the advent this year because I feel it's just beneath her, but in the same spirit of what you're saying, she's a model. Even if it's something that's not artistic or tasteful, like the Pirelli calendar. It has prestige but personally I don't qualify it as being art or anything particularly tasteful. I still love it when she's a part of it. Because why the hell not? As long as it's not something so tacky that you have to question why she would even take the job. But as Metin would have it, we might see her in a Niqab by June.

It's also very spiritual-preachy. "If you allow me, I will support you" it kind of sounds like some of the things Metin says. Also, Adriana isn't going to use the word "impositions". I'm just keeping it real. I doubt it's in her vocabulary.

On a different note I'm glad that Adriana didn't do the LOVE Advent thing. It's tacky every single year, but this year it was tackier than usual. I think they tried to go a different direction and tried to be more 'empowering' but I watched a few, even with models I like, and no.
