I guess them saying that about adriana is not surprising if they question whether or not Rihanna and Beyonce are black. 🙄 But that is incredibly stupid. Adriana doesn't identify as black obviously, and their calling her white is one thing even though it's incorrect and ridiculous. But to question whether black women are actually black because they have lighter skin and "white" features. 🙄 Ignorant. I do love though that she pops up in the most random threads because people immediately reference her as an ideal of beauty. The only non race related negative comments I see speak to her taste in men and the stuff she sometimes wears. Which is fair enough. 😅

Does anyone on here go on lipstick alley? Adriana is definitely very appreciated there and I would say the comments are overwhelmingly positive. But can someone explain why there are so many comments on there by people intent on branding Adriana as a white woman? There are quite a few of those comments on that forum.

You do also have the option of ignoring a comment so as to not bring further attention to it. What is the purpose of furthering a point that you see unnecessary in the first place by ensuring 5 more posts on the board about that very topic? I agree that there doesn't seem to be an objective reason to bring up Balmain's line. Don't see why it's necessary to even engage if you truly think someone is making constant comments in bad faith. If you don't address the comment, the talking point is more likely to die down, and you won't contribute to there being several more posts about the unnecessary topic. Adriana should be leaving for Brazil soon enough per her story. I'm thinking that she'll be in Brazil through New years? Hope we see a lot of pictures ❤️. Yeah you're right I just saw her recent stories and she is in Cairo. Really curious what work she's there for and can't wait to see it. I didn't know that Higgins photo was from last year! I feel like a lot of the business meetings adriana does give her a lot of energy in the short term, but I don't think we've really seen anything come from them so far. Other than maybe the reality show she did? I think with the whole acting thing she seems to work on her English skills on and off. Then again maybe she consistently works on improving but doesn't post about it all the time. I don't know how much better she has gotten with sentence structure and pronunciation. I think at this point if she were to start acting closer to age 40, it would be pretty tough to build her skills and find her way into a serious role. Thankfully she still looks amazing so maybe for the more frivolous roles if she's up for them -- that kind of thing could be good for her. I think she likes the idea of being a bond girl. She may have even posted about it once. With the new bond films featuring Daniel Craig, I think they have about 2-3 women in the movie? All of them play bond-esque girls even if there may be one main one. I think adriana could get one of the smaller roles in bond. It would be good for her too because those movies are usually big and watched by many.

Also what stemmed from the business meeting she had with Higgins from shark tank? I think that was back in September so it hasn't been that long but it seems like she's been contemplating making a move. I feel like she's had a few of these meetings throughout the year though and nothing that we can see has come from them yet. Is she still considering acting?

Could it be an old picture that she's just sharing? I think she would have probably mentioned that but just wondering because the only thing I've seen referencing Egypt is the story she posted on ig. If she's there though, twice in one year! Lucky.

I think the point is that she didn't seem beaten up over what happened with Emir and in comparison to how she responds to most of her break ups, it seemed pretty inconsequential. She didn't seem to care. Regardless of the way she perceived any of them though she seems to be in a good mental space and is back to showing her personality to the world. Good energy into the new year.

Also, I know that we'll get policed for having the audacity to discuss Adriana's love life (in *her* thread 😅), since that seems to be an arbitrarily enforced rule in Adriana's thread, but I'm going to say what I feel like saying anyway. I'm glad for Adriana. She broke up with Metin and had a brief fling or whatever that was with Emir, nothing wrong with that just having fun. She is kind of doing her own thing and she seems happy and stress free. It's such a contrast from before. I'm sure she'll find someone soon enough and hopefully it'll be someone that does well by her. I'm enjoying that she's learned how to enjoy her own company and let things kind of fall as they may.

Laeteita is right though. Those articles claiming to know exact net worth are notoriously unreliable. Let's say for a moment that Adriana's net worth is actually 85M, this doesn't mean that she has 85M sitting in a bank that is saved for her use. We don't have a way to qualify how much of her estimated net worth is actually money she has saved for future spending. I don't think that they meant "someone that lives like her" in a derogatory sense. Probably just meant that she's a celebrity. So sure she makes more in a year than most make in a lifetime but she probably does have expenses that differ than most people. She doesn't seem super lavish or into collecting luxury vehicles, I agree. But I don't think that paints a full picture in the sense of her retiring and living off of what she's earned for the rest of her life like another comment suggested. It would probably be unwise to do that right now. I agree overall with most of you about the present and that she doesn't need to rely on Marko for financial support in the near future. I also didn't know he was in an especially good position financially. Investments?

I mentioned multiple times in my comment that the owner of the account seems to be an adriana fan. I also know when she started following it. I was more curious about whether the caption they used for that particular picture, invoking Adriana's name, was done in context of knowing she has daddy issues. Or if it was random. I think it was probably random without much thought about Adriana's insecurities. But was curious about what others thought. Even if they did mean it in context, I don't think it's necessarily bad or wrong. To some of the other points made in response -- yes, of course adriana has daddy issues. And of course she's aware of it. I think people that follow models casually might even be aware of it by observing some of her behavior. It's hard not to develop certain complexes when you're abandoned by a parent as a child. Don't know if she's ever done therapy but I hope she has. Not even because she in particular needs it. But because if you have the money/access and you have things to deal with (don't we all), it's a wise thing to do.

Anyone else find this kind of interesting? Adriana follows this meme page (and the page is hilarious tbh). The owner of the page knows Adriana follows and has given her a shout out for following / always liking posts multiple times. He or she posted a meme today referring to a model with daddy issues. And in the caption used "angelic adriana". If it was like an intentional thing, Adriana either didn't get it or didn't care because she liked the meme. If she did think it was intentionally done and still liked it, even better. But do you guys think the meme creator used her name with intent? Not arguing there is something wrong if he or she did. I'm just surprised I guess. I know they like Adriana - so if it's intentional it's just in jest. I found it interesting because they could have used her name in any of the other captions where models are referenced without the tag of "daddy issues". Edit: Looking through their posts -- it's clear that they often add a descriptor in front of "model" and often times it is related to insecurity or daddy issues. So I'm sure it didn't cross their mind and it wasn't intentional. It just happens to be the case that adriana has daddy issues. Good meme nonetheless.

I never really cared much for most of the photos released by Puma. I was glad she had the collaboration but always found the styling and make up in the photos kind of subpar. But I have to say the latest batch, with the white sweatshirt- Stunning.

The make up palette is weird. But she looks beautiful regardless. I like the dress on her.

Oh I didn't know she was in Paris. The make up just looked like something she would have for them. I also saw some post where she had different make up but the same high up pony tail posted on some make up or hair account and it had Maybeline tagged. But maybe they were just using a few products from Maybeline. Hope it is indeed something new / different.

I also don’t think they were that serious. I think he seemed to be her type more than Metin did. He seems a bit more masculine and seems to carry himself a bit better. If her past choices other than Metin are any indication, she is into that. I figured if she was serious about him though, she would at least display it in weird subtle ways like she did with Julian, despite that he wanted to keep things somewhat on the low. She was all over him at the Super Bowl. I kind of agree with Sophie about the icons party. He probably would have been in attendance anyway. For me the biggest tell is that she’s usually much more dramatic on Instagram after a break up. Much much more dramatic. Kind of feels like it was mutual on this one and like no one is hurting. The biggest sign IMO is adriana’s mood/appearance after or during a break up. She takes the ones that hurt very hard and you can almost always tell by what she's posting or her appearance in candids. I personally doubt this. He accepted my dummy account with like 11 followers. I don't think he's concerned with privacy. I also don't think that it's immature to unfollow someone back if you're no longer with them. It could be that he didn't want to see her face on his feed or be reminded of her after they broke up. I think that's pretty normal. With that said, I think if they did break up it wouldn't be too shocking to see them get back together. Plus she shared that weird respect/love quote. I know she does it randomly sometimes but she usually does that in context of men she dates too. We'll see. I'm pretty indifferent about Emir. After Metin though, my standard has simply become "at least he's not Metin". It's also hard to know what her satisfaction is based on red carpet events with him. I do agree that she tends to be extremely affectionate when she seems very into it. Like with Julian. It was just another energy. But I also think that people have to somewhat reflect their partners in public. Emir seems like a serious person. Could just be that he's not overly affectionate as a person and / or they're just not at that stage yet. Who knows. She does seem to be just having fun opposed to being too serious. And I think it's good she take her time.
