Following on from penny's post - I've delved into this sinister Easter Bunny business and uncovered some uncomfortable evil evidence... Firstly, when it comes to hanging out with the kids he's simply, well, NOT VERY FRIENDLY: And is often found LOOMING over them, with DUBIOUS intentions: The kids don't like him. And THEY know a bad'un when they see one. Turns out they were right. Scaring kids is just a tiny part of it. The Easter Bunny is actually nothing but a cold-blooded KILLER: And some say he's not just about sheer brute force and bloodlust - that his powers are WAY beyond that... ...His INFLUENCE stretches far and wide - and, apparently, ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP: So, BE AFRAID. There can be no excuse for the any of the acts of vandalism in your list of "Worst Remakes" - but, that said, at least Dolly Parton is a credible artist. The other efforts are tantamount to aural barbarism. But my particular disgust must be aimed at Hilary Duff and 'her' version of My Generation. Not only is this simply unlistenable - it also completely misses the point and the ethos of the song.
