  6. ^Loving all these candids! New (official!) VS:
  7. ^Cabaret is set in the early '30s in Germany, and deals with the decadence of the Weimar republic and the rise of the Nazis; whilst The Sound Of Music is about the (real life) singing Austrian Trapp family, who fled the country when it was annexed to the Third Reich with the father and his friends opposed to the Anschluss. They are both popular musicals, and the foreboding and inevitable encroachment of WWII lends pathos to the respective stories.

  9. ^ Nice! And here's an "official" validation of that - via Russell James:
  10. + For those of you interested in "pap" shots, last night (26th) in New York after some show... (Source: Just Jared) [EDIT - don't know why the uploader won't take this third one(?), so I've uploaded it myself:]

  12. It's not that I've been ignoring your thread, I was just wary - as I think we may look for different things in 'war' films! Since you mentioned Kelly's Heroes though I thought I'd add mine, as I'm a big fan of this film, and actually think Inglorious Basterds is a hark back to the kind of ones I like of this genre from (primarily) the sixties and seventies. War films of recent years seem far more "worthy" and are probably far more respectful of detail and the history of the events - but I prefer the knockabout 'action' of classics such as The Dirty Dozen, Guns Of Navarone, The Great Escape and Where Eagle's Dare ('Broadsword calling Danny Boy') with dastardly German villains and many cries of 'Achtung!' 'Gott Im Himmell' and 'Vere are your papers?'! On perhaps the more atmospheric and serious end, I enjoyed Tora! Tora! Tora! and Das Boot...
  13. Well, it's here: http://youtu.be/FXLIGcz1zgA Behati's bit is rather 'blink and you'll miss her' after this wait, just seems to be taking her time getting out of the sea! Thanks for all the updates, particularly the scan - it's nice to see something one can't otherwise get hold of...
  14. Ugh, you don't make it easy for me to come in here do you?!! Let me adjust... OK - well, thanks for being one of the sane ones. For actually reading arguments - not just presuming they are attacks; and for taking 'spurious' posts in the manner that they are intended.
  15. Never seen this video either, by the way: http://bcove.me/abuaq6pj It's another 'backstage' gig during the last VSFS, for GQ - Behati from 01:36...
  16. + More "pap" shots from Miami (this time, I think, for Next :notsure: ), Jan 18th: (Source: pohpyo.com)
  17. TRU DAT !!
  18. ^To paraphrase the song: what the hell's love got to do with it? She's always taken good pictures regardless, and she's (pretty much) been solidly in a relationship - whether it be "love" or not, who are we to know? - during her tenure with VS anyway...
  19. ^They're magnificent! Thing is, they've always been there, it's just taken VS this long to notice them! Usual adds:
