Poor Paul Bettany. I have been thinking that a main character should die soon in order for the audience to believe that the danger is real in these movies, maybe Vision is a big enough character. I think they tried with Coulson, Quicksilver, and the most recent one (not sure if it's still a spoiler). Those were all secondary characters, though.

I saw Scarlett talking about the movie in an interview. She said there are over 60 marvel characters in the movie, and that 31 or 32 appear in one scene together.

The list of countries in which the US fought and then abandoned is fairly long. There are a number of reasons, of course, but war-fatigue usually has a strong influence. (It's not just the US, but I focused there to stay on point with your post.)

^^^ I don't know who has seen The Interview, but Rodman reminds me of James Franco's character during the first half of the movie. The character is completely fooled by North Korea and the false image of the country they show him. I imagine that's what has happened with Rodman. Maybe

Normally, I would say that a Thor movie would not make that much, but with The Hulk (among others) in the movie, it's harder to say. Also, there is always an unexpected kids movie that makes more than was predicted. Agreed. There are only two (1.5) planned that I know of, Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp. I expect the later to marketed as both characters being lead. Captain Marvel will be directed by a woman, Anna Boden, with her frequent collaborator Ryan Fleck. I would be shocked if there is not a Wonder Woman 2. And I imagine Patty Jenkins would direct again.

Stormbringer was actually referring to the fire in London. Your statement is accurate, though.
