I didn't want to state it as plainly as you because I am a Greta fan and there is always a chance my bias clouds my judgment, but since you said it I'm now sure it is a fact she was overlooked. As Jojo Rabbit is probably my fav movie of the year, I'm glad it received six nominations, and especially the two for Taika Waititi. I want to say Great Gerwig was robbed of a Best Director nomination. The problem is you would have to remove someone to make room but there is no way the voters would have left out, for example, Scorsese.
