It's likely to happen in most places, probably. The thing I heard said today that made me think of it "China has over a billion people and only 80000 had/have the virus, so it's obviously not a big deal". Of course, that thought ignores the fact that China shut down the region in a way that is more difficult for democracies to duplicate. You are correct about people complaining no matter what, they love it. If the governments of the world did nothing, people would complain about how many people got sick. If governments continue as they currently are, people will complain that not enough got sick.

A prediction (because I'm bored): - Governments and organizations will continue to take precautions in hopes of reducing the spread of the virus. - The spread of the virus will eventually slow down and stop. - People will complain that not enough people became sick to justify the precautions.

The last thing I saw about the Olympics was that the IOC said it can't be delayed beyond 2020 because the contract says that's when it has to happen. I did not see any explanation why the contract can't be amended to allow for the event to be moved to 2021. It is very common for contracts to be renegotiated or amended, so I'm not sure why this one can't be.

I imagine some of the reporters are not happy with him after he touched all of their recording devices and microphones.

Disappointing, but I'm not sure they had many options. Once one player has it, they are all at risk because of how much they contact each other. Also, I saw they told all players who played against Utah in the last two weeks that they should self-quarantine.
