100% 100% he has been throwing shade since she started, which ain’t helping candice. He’s probably the only one enjoying this whole mess since it’s bringing more attention to Candice. I’ve noticed that Candice does not have a good inner circle. I have always gotten a weird vibe when she started to hanged out with Joan’s inner circle, they seem fake and opportunist. I guess that’s a good and only good thing about tom, he’s not an opportunist but he is a womanizer. Homegirl Candice needs to pick better friends and better man.

When Joan posted that story months ago exposing someone's phone number, X users speculated it was either Candice's or Riley Montana's—Riley used to be part of Joan's friend group until they had a falling out recently, and Riley was posting stories shading someone during that time. Honestly, I don't agree with Candice dating Tom, but given that Joan and Tom were only a casual fling, there was nothing for Candice to "break up"... this is all starting to reek of Joan being jealous that she wasn't "chosen". Is dating your friend's former fling great? No. But at their age, Joan could have been happy for her friend (who's otherwise been loyal to her for 15 years)... or she could have quietly moved on from the friendship. There was no need for the public drama, except Joan seeking attention. It's also sad that Joan seems to have been triggered by Candice unfollowing her. The last thing I'll say about all this (and I'm sorry for the spam)—I think Candice and Joan's friendship was genuine, but it's always seemed to me Candice is/was more genuinely herself with Behati and Rosie, or even Doutzen, Lais, Lily, etc. Seeing Behati, Candice and Rosie holding hands and dancing together during the finale like the old times was sweet 🥹

I honestly think Candice definitely knows what Tom is like. He probably sleeps around with so many girls in the industry (and there's definitely a long list of names we don't even know about). There is zero chance she’s clueless about his track record. Sometimes, certain women just get this ego boost thinking they can 'fix' a fuckboy and be the one to make him stop. It's literally a challenge to them. She might be having that exact mindset right now with him.

It doesn't really surprise me that Candice used to hang out with Joan's squad. They’re all single, and she was too. Hanging out with Behati, Rosie, or Doutzen like she used to is probably tough since they're all settled down. Joan’s lifestyle definitely matched hers way more. We’ll just have to see what happens next though, 'cause Tom is literally so unpredictable. 😫

I think Candice and Doutzen are fine. Candice posted throwbacks with Doutzen before the show, and there are a couple of pictures with Behati, Candice and Doutzen backstage. Sunnery still likes and comments on Candice's posts on Instagram, and Candice has liked posts of Doutzen at the show. I also saw a few folks on X or Reddit say Doutzen mentioned Candice in a backstage video.

I think the friendship with Behati has been much more about publicity than something truly intimate—unlike her relationship with Doutzen, who, if I recall correctly, seemed like a sister to her. Still, it’s great to see them together again. Some friendships only grow stronger after many years... Given this whole scandal with Joan, I hope the other girls are supporting her. She needs a friend who will tell her straight out what of ☠️ Tom is, and point out her poor choices—she deserves so much better than a man who can’t stay faithful to any woman he dates.

Candice has always given me the impression that, despite what everyone might think (given that she’s famous and, well, a lingerie model), she’s actually a shy and introverted person. She’s not like Behati, for example, who gives off the vibe of being the kind of person you could leave alone on the street and within 10 minutes she’d have made five new friends. I think I even remember hearing Candice say that about herself. So it wouldn’t surprise me if she isn’t the kind of person with a busy social life and dozens of friends to make plans with, as some might think. She strikes me as someone who’s pretty much a homebody and family-oriented, with a few friends but close to them, which is why I feel bad that things ended up this way with Joan, even though she may have been partly to blame for the situation. Yeah, something like that. He’s an ambassador for NBA Africa, an African basketball league sponsored by the NBA. And he seems to be part of the “NBA Take Two Media” project, a company formed by the NBA and Take-Two (the video game company responsible for developing the NBA 2K games), which produces content featuring former players like him. He’s doing a series called Nomad, which obviously consists of videos of him traveling all over the world to very different countries, such as Senegal, South Korea, Serbia or Puerto Rico.

I wouldn't consider any of those models part of Candice's inner circle. Yes, they've been good friends with her for years, but her inner circle of friends can't consist of people she sees only once or twice a year. I do consider Eduardo part of it, for example, even though they seem a little more distant now, but we’ve seen Eduardo with her almost every week, spending a lot of time together; at times, it even seems like they’ve lived together for a while. But Behati lives on the other coast of the United States, while Doutzen (Amsterdam) and Rosie (London) don’t even live on the same continent as Candice. Based on what they’ve shown us, in fact, I’d say the only model I would have considered part of Candice’s inner circle, someone I imagine her talking to every day or almost every day, was Joan, who also lives in Miami like her. Candice’s real inner circle will consist of people we don’t know (and that’s perfectly fine), people from her everyday life, whom she’s met at the gym, at the office where she works on her Tropic of C brand, other moms from the activities she takes her kids to, and so on.

I don't think Doutzen has fallen out with either Candice or Joan. She's been good friends with both of them for a long time, but since the pandemic, when she decided to step back almost entirely from the fashion industry and, shortly after, from social media as well (she now limits herself to only very sporadic appearances each year, which saddens me as a huge fan of hers), her relationship with them or with any other models who aren’t Dutch or who don’t spend much time in Amsterdam, seems to have cooled simply because she no longer sees them as often as she used to. But I don’t think Doutzen had any problems with them because of this whole situation, although it can’t be a pleasant situation for her to see two good friends fighting. I imagine we’ve all been in a similar situation at some point, where two good friends or family members get into a fight, and you have nothing to do with it, but you don’t want to take sides because you like them both. She surely has her own opinion on the matter, just like the rest of us, but she seems mature enough not to get involved in matters that aren’t her business.

To be honest and provide some context as someone who's been following Joan on Instagram for years, Joan has always been like this. Even when she was Candice's “wifey” and everything was going great between them, she was always dropping hints, I don't know who they were aimed at, but it's something that's always been a constant with her.

I think Brady hasn't missed a White Party in years, he's a very good friend and business partner of the organizer, Michael Rubin. And even if he weren't friends with Rubin, it still doesn't seem like a bad plan for him... knowing that there are always models and other attractive women at that party.

I hate how dark their tans are now. In old VS, they still looked normal. Yeah, she has said in past interviews that she's an introvert and a homebody. It seems she prefers more low-key events for her personal life. As an aside, I realized that Tom and Joan were at the White Party this summer.

I think she gets along well with Behati (in general, everyone seems to get along with Behati—she seems like a charismatic woman who doesn't take herself too seriously), but yeah, I don’t think you can say they’re close. That friendship comes from the whole thing about promoting the fact that they’re both African sisters and all that, but it doesn’t seem like anything deep. She’s definitely had a great relationship with Doutzen, they’ve gone on vacation together (and with Joan lol) on their own several times over the years (which she doesn’t seem to have ever done with Behati or Rosie, at least as far as we can tell from what they’ve posted on social media), but Doutzen has been living somewhat in her own little bubble at her home and garden in Amsterdam for years now, so Idk if we can count on her. To me, the worst part of all this is that I really doubt Candice doesn't know exactly what Brady is like and what kind of reputation he has, everyone knows it, but she seems not to care. And I don’t buy that it’s because she just wants a superficial relationship to have fun and sex, because if that were the case, I seriously doubt Candice wouldn’t be able to find men who are more attractive than Brady, closer to her age and far less famous than Brady, just like she did back in the day with Pietro or Velencoso. I seriously doubt that the media frenzy that comes with being Brady's new girlfriend (and losing her friendship with one of her best friends) is worth it just to have a few quick flings with a well-preserved fifty-year-old man. She knows what she's getting herself into, for whatever reason.

She’s probably just focus on raising her kids and working on tropic of c and now probably tom lbvs. She probably has friends that we don’t know about.

I genuinely wonder who she hangs out with when she isn't with Joan and the group. It doesn't appear she goes out with the Brazilians anymore. When Eduardo has been in town in the past, she's been with him. He basically lives at her house, but that hasn't happened often this year.

Something I noticed that Candice liked on Instagram that I thought was interesting... drama aside, this break with Joan and her circle might be the best thing for Candice in the long run. It felt like Candice never truly "fit in" with their circle or lifestyle. Seeing pictures of her with Behati and Rosie again this year (both at the VSFS and otherwise), reinforced that those friendships always felt more natural and solid than with Joan/Joan's circle. She's definitely still close to Jerome, and I think Lais, too. And there's Ali, of course. Eduardo posted a story on Candice's birthday saying "best friends are forever", so they're good, too. And she obviously has friends we don't know of, or may be closer to other people than we realize. While this is all unnecessary drama for Candice, I think she'll be fine without Joan/Joan's circle. She certainly has been for months now.

Now she doesn’t really have an inner circle outside of like Behati, Lily a, Rosie, Doutzen, Ali, and maybe Eduardo (but he’s been very distant the last few months).

We won't know for sure since Doutzen lives in her bubble in Netherlands and doesn't use Instagram anymore, she probably didn't feel like being backstage around people this time but if they felt apart it's sad because they were always there for each other.

At this point she's just exposing herself as someone who needs and wants attention, is better for her if we ignore her and stop commenting what she wants us to comment.

According to Deuxmoi, which seems to be well-informed in this case (and I suspect that Joan or people close to Joan might be the ones providing them with this information), what supposedly upset Joan is that Candice apparently advised her against or warned her not to date Brady, only to then be the one who started dating Brady shortly after he broke up with Joan. I even understand that Joan might suspect or know that Candice was the reason her relationship with Brady ended, although according to Deuxmoi, it seemed like a pretty on-and-off relationship, it doesn’t seem like Brady wants a serious relationship, so it’s not surprising that none of his relationships with the many women he’s been involved with have lasted. In any case, if this hypothesis is true, I would understand why Joan is so angry with Candice.
