This thread has become increasingly toxic... anyone can create an account, say "I've heard this, I've heard that", with 0 credibility or evidence, and certain users will take it as gospel, regardless of the fact that it directly contradicts or entirely disregards what we know. While the speculation was fun at first, it's become increasingly mean spirited with certain users attacking Candice's character because she had a falling out with ONE friend — and the details of that are unclear at best. Every other attack on Candice's character is based on unfounded claims. It would do everyone well to have some humanity and remember Candice — and for that matter, Joan, Behati, Doutzen, Glen Powell, and whoever else you all want gossip on — are real people with real feelings. They aren't made up characters who exist solely for your amusement. Begging for the most salacious gossip, with 0 care to whether it's true or not, is cruel. As to certain users calling Candice's character into question because of Ali's connection to Epstein, and VS's connection to Epstein... are you also going to call into question the character of every model who is signed, or has been signed to The Lions? How about every VS Angel? Or is it only Candice who should be held to a higher standard than everyone else?

I definitely think it's related, but I thought I would leave open the possibility it was an accident as I've noticed Rosie do unfollowing sprees in the past. Assuming it is related, though, I can understand Rosie unfollowing Joan. I wouldn't want to follow someone who was directly and subliminally attacking a close friend of mine almost daily. Cansie Forever. +1. The ring in question doesn't even look like an engagement/wedding ring. Weren't Candice and Tom supposedly meeting in Indian Creek for months, and now they're meeting where they can be seen by anyone... but there's still no pictures? Either they really are about to make their relationship public, or TMZ is posting nonsense. Also, the pictures look like an Alo advertisement more than anything else 😂

Rosie unfollowed Joan. I'm not saying it's related to Joan and Candice's falling out, but I thought it was interesting.

I don't know how true this is, but I've seen a Gisele fan page claim Tom's PR tends to spin stories in the media to make him look like more of a ladies man. Given what we know of Candice's desire for privacy, I'm assuming the story that Candice wants to make things more public was planted by Tom's team. Nothing about her previous relationships or overall personality suggests a desire for a splashy, public relationship. Whatever the case may be, I don't see Tom and Candice lasting much longer. She unfollowed Joan's agent, Kyle Hagler. I can't pinpoint anyone else relevant to the conversation. She's done unfollow sprees in the past, so I'm sure a lot of the 47 were just pages or people she was no longer interested in following.

I know you and I have had some disagreements on this topic, but nonetheless it's been fun discussing and speculating with you and others 😅 What do you think the chances are Joan was Deuxmoi's "source"? She probably didn't think the real timeline would be revealed. I wish Candice would choose better men, and in some cases better friends, for herself, but I'm most thankful my initial thought that Candice wasn't the villain in all this was correct. I wonder what Joan's thought process is that hooking up with a freshly divorced man while he's also hooking up with your friend is okay, but your other friend dating him two years later is the ultimate betrayal? It really feels like Joan is the "BACKSTABBER". Maybe she was always looking for a reason to turn on Candice.

+1. Tom is the town bicycle. There's a misogynistic undertone to it all, and the worst part is Joan is playing to that crowd, too. I think Candice will come out of this just fine. She's maintained her composure through it all, while Joan looks like an immature, petty teenager trying to start drama over an on/off fling two years in the past. I saw a theory that Ali was helping Joan to book jobs... it would explain why Candice + Joan did the Elie Saab show and Anne Klein campaign together. Maybe Joan was upset she didn't book the Gucci show in NY? Whatever it is, I don't think we'll ever know. It seems Joan doesn't want us to know, and Candice is holding back out of respect for their former friendship. If Tom distancing himself from Candice is what it takes for this to be over... so be it. I will say, though, it's possible Candice wanted something serious, but she'll change her mind in light of this drama. I just hope this ends soon. Joan obviously likes the attention, but given the new information that's come to light... is there much else Joan can do/say besides post shady stories? An insider close to Tom saying he doesn't like the drama and wants to distance himself, sounds like a polite way of saying he and Candice won't last much longer. Hopefully what we've all learned is anything Joan says should be taken with a grain of salt. She's clearly not an okay person.

As a woman... if my best friend started dating someone I had a casual fling with two years after we were through, would I be thrilled about it? Maybe not, but I wouldn't throw this sort of public temper tantrum about it. If Tom had done something awful to Joan, it would be different, but that's clearly not the case. The thing I can't get over is it's been TWO YEARS, not months, YEARS... it's insane to me that Joan is crashing out over a casual fling that happened TWO YEARS ago. I suppose she thought Candice should be happy, but only if it was on her (Joan's) terms? And if so, honestly, good riddance. Anyway, Daily Mail is reporting that Tom wants to keep his distance, and let Joan and Candice sort out their issues between themselves. I don't think Candice is interested in prolonging the drama either. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of it because it's getting boring now that we know Joan is just acting crazy 💀 I can see it from both perspectives. It's easy for us to say Candice is a perfect 10/10 and deserves someone who will treat her like a Queen, but she could have insecurity issues we don't know about. The breakup with Hermann probably messed with her. But I agree, and hoping this Tom and Candice thing will be over soon, I hope she finds a good man or stays single until she does.

💀 Joan and Irina were seeing Tom at the same time? Yeah, it definitely feels like Joan is holding Candice to a bizarre double standard. For Joan to be making such a big deal of this TWO YEARS LATER is insane, especially when, by all accounts, she and Tom were never serious. End the friendship, sure, but in no way was any of this fuss warranted. Joan really tried to start a hate train against Candice over a man she dated TWO YEARS AGO, and who she dated at the same time as Irina... girl, I'm on Candice's side. Period. This is pathetic. Also, LOL @ Joan being "pretty upset". Candice has always been more important to VS than Joan, she is/was always going to be at the show until the day she decides to decline. Get a grip, Joan. As far as I'm concerned, Candice is cleared of any significant wrongdoing. I still don't like her taste in men, but that's not my business.

This is possible. I wonder if it's related to reporting that Joan is telling their mutual friends to pick sides? If so, it would explain why Doutzen seemingly avoided Joan, but there are a few pictures of Doutzen x Behati x Candice. Doutzen probably isn't entertaining Joan's antics. If Joan calculated the timing of airing out her and Candice's feud... I trust Joan's version of events even less. There's something about Joan that's always struck me as being a mean girl, and it lines up with what others have said about Joan's overall reputation. This is actually why I don't find it surprising that Candice might tolerate Tom's "cheating". If she's been conditioned since she was a teenager to accept her partner cheating on her, that's hard to get over.

One last thing I want to note: Twitter/X users from Hermann's town in Brazil have long commented that Hermann cheated on Candice throughout their relationship, and especially during her second pregnancy. Given they were together from the time Candice was a teenager until almost 30, that probably affected what she believes she deserves in a man/relationship. Just to add perspective to her taste in men.

Realistically, Joan and Candice have been friends for 15 years, they BOTH have a lot of dirt on each other. I'm sure Joan might want to say more, but I'm also sure she's intelligent enough to realize if she burns Candice's life and career to the ground, Candice will have nothing left to lose, and can easily turn around and burn Joan's life and career to the ground, too. My thoughts: Joan and Tom had a casual, on/off fling, and Candice probably didn't think there was a "girl code" to break if they were essentially FWB. Candice might have mentioned Gisele in passing, but I don't believe this theory that she actively worked to break up Joan and Tom. Frankly, they were never in a committed relationship, there was hardly anything for Candice to break up 💀 Joan is dramatizing things for attention, as is her reputation. And the thing is, Joan is always posting shady stories and alluding to being involved in drama, so we can't even assume everything Joan posts is about Candice because this is just Joan's 24/7/365 norm. The only difference is she's actually getting media attention for once. What I find interesting is, Joan kept things quiet until Candice unfollowed her... was she really that triggered by Candice simply unfollowing her? And if she was... girl, get a life.
