In all of Amy Troost’s fashion photographs, there is an overriding sense of the character of her subjects. Troost’s antenna for the nuanced gestures that describe authentic attitude and personality is exceptional. Her clean and classical graphic sensibility—especially within the studio environment— brings the conventions of portraiture into her fashion work.
