I saw it yesterday in the cinema and I found it veeery boring. Seriously, some journalists made such a fuss about it and the violence in it that they made me believe it was going to be an awesome movie. But sadly, it was not. Now, if I really want to see an interesting film on the Mayas, I'll just take a look at National Geographic channel on TV. Any other opinions?

Have any of you seen You Again? I work with Touchstone, trying to get the word out about the movie. I’d love to hear if you are enjoying the previews or if you've seen the movie! Beyond the basic synopsis, I think this tagline sums up the vibe pretty well – “What doesn’t kill you…is going to marry your brother.” People seem pretty excited about it, do you think you'll check it out? Just in case you haven't seen it yet, check out the trailer here: trailers.apple.com/trailers/disney/youagain/

Recently watched the documentary The Nomi Song releaed by Palm Pictures and Universal. The documetnary was amazing! It was about teh musician Klaus Nomi who was the 1st artist to die of AIDS in '83. I've always been into Synth-pop music since my early teen yrs in the 80s, and I would always here about the German Opera genius who performed songs like Cold Song! I was so happy to find this documentary and learn a bit more about the man who brought New wave/ Synth-pop to the market of music! The Nomi Song - http://www.thenomisong.com

  22. So this clown Uwe Boll has made some of the worst movies ever. mostly adaptations of video games. and naturally, anyone who sees these movies pans them. critics hate this guy, and he hates them. so his solution? fight them in the ring. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=65474 like a movie critic is going to want to spend the time beating him up (or vice versa!) and end up in one of his terrible movies. oh boy.

So I thought it might be a good idea to start a topic in which movies that are or will be currently in theater will be discussed. I go to the movies a lot, and sometimes I wish I didn't spend my money on a particular film, or fall completely in love with a movie on dvd later and wish I had seen it on the big screen! I think it could be nice to read people's opinion on whether something was a good movie or not, and it can also help people not missing any good ones! I'm going again today, and I'm down to two choices: - Ted - The Dark Knight Rises (again, but I don't care ) I have no idea whether people will use this or not, but before/if anyone starts posting: Give a…
