  4. I think it's time for a separate thread. All those casting rumors are super exciting already @Lilja K Story: Set 24 years before the events of the first novel, the narrative delves into themes of political manipulation, the power of propaganda, and the complexities of societal control under a totalitarian regime and centers on the 50th Hunger Games, which Haymitch Abernathy (formerly Woody Harrelson) competed in.

I heard of this movie only a few days ago and immediately thought that it would be another blockbuster 2009 summer hit. Basically another superhero movie from DC comics , but I heard that the graphic novel was very good. Story outline:"Watchmen" is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. …

Recently watched the documentary The Nomi Song releaed by Palm Pictures and Universal. The documetnary was amazing! It was about teh musician Klaus Nomi who was the 1st artist to die of AIDS in '83. I've always been into Synth-pop music since my early teen yrs in the 80s, and I would always here about the German Opera genius who performed songs like Cold Song! I was so happy to find this documentary and learn a bit more about the man who brought New wave/ Synth-pop to the market of music! The Nomi Song - http://www.thenomisong.com

It's one of my 'guilty pleasures' in film. I recently saw this again for the first time in a couple of years. It's probably my fourth full viewing since 2001, and, in my attempts to figure out the puzzle that is 'Hannibal', I've rewatched bits and pieces of it many times. Why do I say 'Guilty pleasure'? And even I would admit that it was definitely a film that was composed of parts that were stronger than itself as a composite whole. In retrospect, I believe that- like Ridley Scott's 'Bladerunner'....'Hannibal' was unfairly judged after its re…
