As far as I know I still have the right to decide what I believe or don’t believe in. No one knows what Candice is doing  in these photos, but they sure as hell have the hallmark of a yacht girl, a term you very clearly need to Google. Hell, I hope she’s at least being paid to be on the yacht, even if nothing else is involved, since at least then there’s sort of a good reason for her to be hanging with this guy.

 

If I see a topless woman swinging around a pole, I’m going to go ahead and assume she’s a stripper. That’s not sexism; it’s experience. If she just happens to be a nudist gymnast, I’ll have no issue apologizing for my mistake.

Candice is very beautiful and elegant. Nobody looks as good as her, plus she does it without any effort. That dress only she is able to wear properly. She adapts, she transforms with each different dress and makeup, she is an exceptional model.

you’re throwing around the term sexist way too easily. Anyone who says something you disagree with is automatically a sexist. And this is where Women’s empowerment and #metoo lose credibility. 
 

Nothing was remotely sexist about my comment. All humans age and for models, whose livelihood depends on their looks, once age sets in their careers come to an end. It’s why you don’t have see Ireland or cindy Crawford walking runways anymore or Pamela Anderson getting nude in movies. It happens. It’s real. Get over it.

Pointing out that yacht girls at Cannes are a thing isn’t sexist. The existence of yacht girls is deeply rooted in misogyny and sexism, but acknowledging reality isn’t sexist. 

(Neither is pointing out that models lose work as they age—the same is true for women in Hollywood. Them losing work is absolutely sexist; saying it happens isn’t. Maybe that’s a bit nuanced for this one-trick pony.)

 

I have no idea if Candice is being paid to be there, and neither do you. I have no idea what her relationship is with this guy, and neither do you. That said, she’s a single model on a boat that, by your own admission, she doesn’t “need” to be on given her wealth, at Cannes, with a known rich scumbag. It’s not outrageous to think she might not be there for his personality.

Candice is an awesome model with a lot of experience. She is in Cannes for strictly professional reasons. Those of us who have known her for many years know how she is, a great professional and an exceptional woman. She is not a woman who likes luxury especially. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life. She has nothing to do with the glamor of those spheres where she knows how to move like a fish in water. She now enjoys the company of her children who are what she now focuses on her main motivation. The banal discussions about her stay on yachts do not interest me at all.

Wow, what a fabulous exegesis! Lol. I’m not worked up at all, but of course you’d think so since that’s always the answer here whenever someone states their opinion, goes against the grain or doesn’t agree with whatever “BZ’s favorites” say. I’ve been here long enough to know that “certain” people get a free pass, they always will get a free pass and can say/do whatever they please without there being any warnings. On BZ it’s either “say as we say” or you’ll get harassed and bullied until you decide to leave yourself. You’re also the one saying how the odds are pretty good Candice must be hooking up with someone because she’s hanging out with a man. Again, you’re basing that on a few photos. Are you there lying next to them and observing them when they’re supposedly going at it? Are you also there when she takes care of her finances, since you’re so sure she’s a millionaire at best.
