The episode is only vaguely associated with the short story. Overall, it's my favorite Witcher episode so far. It has the Witcher "tone" for the first time. The budget increase can be seen in this episode. Ciri is so cute & pretty, too. The actress that plays Tissaia de vries is a Milf. The Boarman was good. I think even book readers can absorb/appreciate the backdrops, and setting in order to enrich the short story.

I'm afraid that with the whole cyberpunk mess they're gonna have some delays.... https://www.polygon.com/22807906/cyberpunk-2077-next-gen-update-release-date-ps5-xbox-series-x They say first half of 2022: that means it's not going to be released before Q3 or even Q4 2022 (or maybe in the beginning of 2023)
January 11, 20223 yr Season 2 is meh... it's alright, but not what I expected from a Witcher series. I guess if I hadn't known the Witcher before, I would've enjoyed it way more. It's still a good TV show, just not "epic" yet.

She's witty and I'm sure she genuinely enjoys the Witcher, but it's never a good idea to antagonize the fans (and she did distort the universe - at least from what I know after having played the Witcher 2 and 3). Season 2 has improved the timeline, so there are good sides. But character development is boring, the costumes are cheap, Geralt is less interesting than in S01, the OST is good but still not epically good. And I don't like how they depicted Eskel and Lambert. Vesemir's depiction is alright (though I would've loved to see what Mark Hamill would've done with the character). Of course, that's just, like, my opinion, man.
