Trump changed his absurd "end the war in 24 hours" claim to "end the war in 6 months..."

This whole Ukrainian border inclusion into empty farmland since the start has been mostly a PR stunt rather than something with military significance.

It has been aimed at impressing the "stupid americans and europeans" who don't understand military maps.

I saw  that ABC news & UK telegraph is using 'Kursk' as a talking point to conceal the fact that Ukrainians are losing ground everyday in the East/South while committing sizable forces in Kursk.

I'm not sure Russia is winning, even if Ukraine might be incapable of pushing them out of the country.

Russia gained around 3800 square kilometers of territory this past year. That might seem like a lot, but that translates to around 0.6% of the Ukrainian landmass. Ukraine is a big country. Certainly by European standards. Around 93% of the land mass of France.

The status quo now seems a de facto stalemate, with very slow marginal gains made by Russia. At a huge economic cost. The forecast for their economy beyond 2025 is not great and this isn't just the opinion of biased Western commentators.

Russia is treating this conflict as a side-war like the US war on terror (5% of GDP), this is a big factor to why they are maintaining continuous lower intensity pressure.  As far as economics go they quickly circumvented the sanctions, integrated with China and other non-western states, and inflicted a lot of damage to European economies.  The War has costed them some blood and treasure but very little compared to what it cost Ukraine and NATO.

This is not a stalemate, the war was lost by NATO in 2022. NATO has been de-fanged by Russia, losing hundreds of billions of aid money & dollar value of armaments to Ukraine.  Worse, NATO and the US exhausted their ammunition supply while would take many years, some estimates are 1-2 decades to recover.  The whole world knows that Western weapons, tactics, and training are average and don't present a world-beating threat.  Trump said that Ukrainian government manipulated the West into the war; this is correct.

This war shows that the US-UK NATO is good only far spamming propaganda rather than military results.  They should have thrown the Russians out long ago.  This shows how stupid Americans and Europeans are.

Ukraine is in permanent ruins with no economic future   lost more than 10 million people, and the Russians control most of the annexed pro-Russian provinces.  Now Ukraine- US are trying to negotiate their surrender.

Trump announces first meeting with Putin in Saudi Arabia

The US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth tells allies that, with Donald Trump as US president, it is "unrealistic" to think Ukraine can return to its pre-2014 borders and America must focus on the threat posed by China and securing its own borders.

A predictable ending to this conflict is emerging-

- in US-Russia deal, the US robs Ukraine for its valuable raw materials and mining, really just a continuation of US economic buy up in Ukraine for so many years.  The militarily weak European nations are left out of the conversation.

-NATO credibility down to a very low order on the world stage as de-industrialized, military ineffective, and poorly led; Russia no longer perceived as a military superpower that can take over a country in 1 week but one strong enough to rob US/NATO of hundreds of billions of dollars of aid/equipment in an actual shooting war with only half of its army on a budget.

-Ukraine a devastated, depopulated, broke, and ruined state missing its young men; perhaps Poland can take advantage of their ruin on top of the American robbery.

Peace talks between US, Russia and Ukraine are starting- with Europe & European NATO left out lol

Trump removed Kellog from the negotiations.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the creation of an "army of Europe" to guard against Russia as he suggested the US may no longer come to the continent's aid.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said that Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine was a "factory reset" for Nato which signalled the alliance needed to be "robust", "strong" and "real".

British 'intelligence' barked the loudest during this war- behind the noise and propaganda was actually a very weak military.

Their ground force is really weak too.

I feel bad for Zelensky- he was just an actor/comedian before all of this.

lol  British 'intelligence', and their media organs trash talked so much in this war , what a lie..

US voted on the side of Russia in the UN on the Ukraine war- such a bizarre timeline
