How can anyone follow or admire this shitshow?

One powerful and huge group of people who support trump are old people, who sit around all day in their houses trying to live until age 100, are the most politically active and have the most money in the US. Among them are billionaire oligarchs that support Trump.

Many of them are halfway to dementia and they live in a dream-like world of yesterday of the American dream/american empire and are out of touch with the present. Their lives were much easier than those of later generations and they were able to easily amass capital in much a less competitive and anti-worker environment. Now they are holding on to their wealth while their maids change their adult diapers and give them their daily drug cocktail.

You can see what's going on if you watch US Fox News or other daytime TV and see all the info-mercials of financial scams that are clearly trying to separate old people from their money. American wealth managers & stockbrokers' target boomers as well with daytime cold-calling.
