I totally agree, I wish she could wait +2 years for doing collabs. I have to say I love her. BUT In this case, it's obvious that she got chosen only because of "she's Cindy's daughter", not because she's Kaia Gerber who put down something in the modeling industry.

The 3 piece fashion accessory line is set for release on the 15th September 2018 and will include earring, bracelet and choker. The 84 year old fashion designer who is infamous for his work with leading French fashion house, Chanel has teamed up with the 16 year fashion model who is daughter of Supermodel of the 90’s, Cindy Crawford. The three-piece collection titled Karl x Kaia, will include lots of crystals supplied by leading jewellery fashion house, Swarovski, with all designs inspired by Kaia’s genuine love for costume jewellery. The collection was designed in a Paris fashion studio with all promotional images for the new range being shot by Karl’s leading stylist, Carine Roitfeld at his 7L studio in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Pier Paolo Righi, who is the CEO of Karl Lagerfeld said in a statement that when Karl first told us of his idea to collaborate with Kaia, he was really excited and believes the new collection between the 2 will inspired many young women. This isn’t the first time the pair have worked together as Kaia worked with Karl on several Chanel fashion campaigns.
