April 1, 200718 yr I don't think that they will die, like Lock says the island is alive to probably something will happen that will keep them alive but i want to see how Lock's father got into the box
April 1, 200718 yr The creater said that they had to kill them because people didn't like them. so i think they will never come back.
April 17, 200718 yr The creater said that they had to kill them because people didn't like them. so i think they will never come back. who do you mean "them"?
May 24, 200717 yr Did anyone see the finale of s3,i mean what the hell is going on,you see in the end Jack and Kate after they have left the island, and Jack telling Kate that it was a mistake to leave the island...
May 24, 200717 yr I did. When Jack cried when he saw the newspaper, WHO DIED ? Kate said 'why would i go?'.
May 24, 200717 yr on lostpedia.com they said the article jack had said1) Its a man found dead (man of New York, i.e. must be his home state)2) First name possibly begins with a J.3) Last name ending in "antham"?4) Found after 4a.m.5) Died in "The Tower" (Apartments?) on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, possibly a reference to the as-yet-unbuilt Grand Avenue Project.J ? Must be Sawyer, Locke or Juliet.
May 24, 200717 yr <SPOILERS>I don't mind the whole revelation at the end, although I don't really think that it was what the writers had planned in the beginning. I'm definitely tired of the whole flashback format as it was interesting when it started but it has recently just felt forced. Even though the whole future angle was pretty forced too, I think that it would be interesting next season if we see flashes into the future instead of in the past for each character. That would be pretty daring. The funniest part of the finale: Jack's fake beard. That thing was so fake. Was the beard really necessary? The beard reminded me of something that they would have worn in the SNL skit where Will Ferrel is talking about his luvah and stuff. I just couldn't take his scenes seriously with that thing. The best and worst part of the finale: Charlie's death. I thought Charlie went out in a great way. The character of Desmond has grown on me and I'm happy with Charlie sacrificing himself to save Desmond. BUT (and obviously a huge but, it's capitalized) Charlie didn't have to die. He could have just shut the other side of the door. That's my first scenario which would have been simple. His second option would have been to swim out the hole where the water flowed in from. I obviously have no experience with underwater stations and grenades underwater, but that grenade should have blowed a bigger hole in that rusty hull and Charlie should have been able to wait until the room was close to full and swim out. I could see a case made for the incoming water pressure being too strong but I still like my theory. I think the writers were determined to kill his character becuase there were ways out of it.More questions (which is just what we need): Locke isn't dead because Walt is apparently Jesus, Locke's odd behavior during his whole confrontation with Jack at the end was so random -- 'I'm going to kill you, don't do this, I'm leaving now', Is there another group of people who want to get something out of the island?, How do you kill the Russian guy with the eyepatch?, What's the deal with Desmond's wife?, How can Jin not be able to shoot some sticks of dynamite but then shoot two of the others?I'm sure there were things that I forgot but this show is like some exponential mathematical sequence. I heard that they have been renewed for two seasons. Given the fact of how slow they like to reveal mysteries and always raise more questions in doing so leads me to believe that if they don't start trying to answer things soon the audience will never feel any sense of resolution and be left with a bad taste. My $.02,Stephen

Must be Sawyer, Locke or Juliet.Well the number one case obviously would refute Juliet. I can't remember anything about 2 or 3 but it must have been there. It has to be someone who has no friends and who would elicit such a strong reaction from Jack. In retrospect, I suppose most characters don't have many anchors or ties left to the real world. Kate, Sawyer, and Locke all seem like people that could have empty funerals. Desmond would have that one British woman there for him. Claire would have her child there. Jin would have his wife there and vice-versa. Something inside of me wants to think that it would be Ben's death that would really screw with Jack's head. Ben seems to have that effect on people. I mean we all know he has no ties to the real world and we know that the show isn't going to make him go out like a wimp. BTW, I just don't see Jack going crazy on pills over Sawyer. Kate probably would have shown up for him. So my choices would be either Locke or Ben. Just a shot in the dark
May 24, 200717 yr I don't know ..since the name starts with the letter J. But it could be Ben. I think Jack cried so much because Ben was his chance to go to the island again, maybe ? but i'm just SO GLAD lost is alive and kicking again. 9 months :S

I could see a case made for the incoming water pressure being too strong but I still like my theory. I think the writers were determined to kill his character becuase there were ways out of it. I think I know why he decided to die. Either it's not possible to shut the door down from outside, or, that's what he thought. And he thought he had to die, so, he did, he didn't try to rescue himself. IMO Desmond didn't got any flash of Charlie's Death. He told him that he had to die just for Charlie to do what Des asked. More questions (which is just what we need): Locke isn't dead because Walt is apparently Jesus, Locke's odd behavior during his whole confrontation with Jack at the end was so random -- 'I'm going to kill you, don't do this, I'm leaving now', Is there another group of people who want to get something out of the island?, How do you kill the Russian guy with the eyepatch?, What's the deal with Desmond's wife?, How can Jin not be able to shoot some sticks of dynamite but then shoot two of the others? Mikhail will never die xD No, just kiding As for the other group of people I agree. I thought about some kind of TV game, you know and killing people would be IN the game, a sort of Survivor extremly hard. But my b/f who has seen more episode than me said it was more like some scientistic experience. As for Jin, well he had just a gun. Bernard and Sayid had machine guns, so I don't see how he could succeed. As for Locke now, I really thought Michael was real ^^ Why not after all?

I think Jack cried so much because Ben was his chance to go to the island again, maybe ? but i'm just SO GLAD lost is alive and kicking again. 9 months :S I agree with that. In my mind it's John or Ben. John has nothing left behind so why not? And he was not really liked by the others people. And Ben, I do'nt think he cared really about Locke and vice-versa...

I was talking with my brother and he thought that there was no way that John or Ben would ever leave the island willingly. I agree with him to an extent. I could see a physically exhausted Ben leaving the island but John would go in a blaze. He'd kill himself. Back to square on for me. I'll stew this over a little more.
April 7, 200817 yr LOST is my favorite show of all time, I can truthfully say I'm borderline obsessed with it. Am I part of the cult? You could say so, lol. It's killing me that we have to wait till April 24th for the end of season 4. And even then, we only get four more episodes.Anyone else antsy and want to discuss the show? If so, lets get this thread moving!
