Fwoosh
Im wondering if vs/ed razek made her do that shit. I mean prior to 2007 she never did anything so embarrassing.I don't know really, she used to be one of the best runway models VS had. Now I tend to skip most of the time she walks. She doesn't give the sexy vibe she used to. Last time I really loved her walk was all the way back in 2008 and only in one segment.
Kevork89
Anyone know the DJ's name who does the music for the show? Not sure Sav. There has to be a credit somewhere. Here is the thing. I'm gonna break it down for y'all. The reason VS has gone way down the drain is because they aren't selling sex anymore. And not sex like between a man and woman but the sexiness has disappeared. They used to base the show around being the sexiest night on television. But post 2004 wardrobe malfunction USA, god forbid sex is seen on TV. Now 2005 and 2006 still had it. The whole 2006 show was based around the word sexy. But VS went from selling sex to selling cute. And that is the big shift. Other than the name of a bra or the girls saying it behind the scenes, nothing is sexy about VS anymore. It's all about costumes, and cuteness, fun overload. So all they need to do is bring the outfits back to being sexy. Stop covering up the girls. And actually cast girls with sex appeal. But like I said everything now is about being playful and cute. Like 12 year olds. Sad.
Ludivine08
^^ You have a point. It was about the seductive woman.Still a lot of the time I find them damn sexy, whether it's also cute or not. Pink is meant to be cute, but Elsa Hosk is damn sexy, and her butt is also shown on national tv. But I understand what you mean. Some of the member here are really gonna be mad we're talking about past shows, and not the '14 show. Sorry people!!!!

RaffyPooh
I still remember the girls talking about the old Claudia Schiffer commercial being "too sexy" and how Lindsay said "Times have changed and it's a good thing" The exact opposite can be said about the show

dubstep
To piggy back on them not doing the "sexy" thing anymore, the demographic has shifted to a younger audience of tumblr/instagram kids. It's very social media centered and most social media is dominated by the tweens and just barely adults. That's who they're trying to catch and appeal to, the future buyers not necessarily the ones that will purchase no matter what.

There's a reason this show is in a later time slot, it's not supposed to be seen by kids and the ones that are around the see it are horny hormone driven teens, the females want to look like them and the males well I don't want to say what the males are doing. The show is becoming too safe and too theatrical, Gisele was right when she said in 2005 that the show is less like a Fashion Show and more like a Cabaret, I'm wanting to see the lingerie and the girls, they don't bust their asses working out to then be covered by 20 feet of tulle and fabric. Play some good music, pick some gorgeous girls, and show some sexy lingerie. It's a simple formula and they're ruining it, with "advertising" and "target demographics" that's all a load of bull. Shit, I gotta up my ass selfie and tumblr kink game. I'm letting down my generation. VS isn't targeting their over-priced, poorly made lingerie to older women. Their biggest demographic is older teens and young twenties, and the easiest and cheapest marketing tool to get to them is social media. Where in that whole thing I said did I ever mention anything but Teens? Not once did I mention older women. I'm saying it's completely delusional to think that "cute" appeals more to that group of people than "sexy" does. It's a fashion show to showcase products for consumers to later buy, they won't be buying much when every segment the bras and panties are completely engulfed in over thought garments. It's a billion dollar industry and VS isn't spending millions of dollars on advertising and this show to not sell product to the people watching it. arielle
^ Everyone seems to like to copy that heart gesture though. LOL My favorite show has to be 2008 anyway. I just love a lot of things about that show and most of all Doutzen's outfits. The cast
