Her body was on par if not better then models like Kate Upton, Hailey Clauson, Sarah Stephens, Kim Cloutier, Gen Morton,  Samantha Hoopes ...ect; and they've all found work without having to lose as much weight as Alex has. With that said I'm confused as fuck as to what her agency wants from her. A year later and I highly doubt Alex is where her agency thought she was going to be,

 

Also models like Josie Maran and Miss Casta refused to change their bodies because of the whims of a bunch of agencies and they had/have very successful careers.

I really think young models today are really not strong enough to say no to the fashion diktats like Josie & Laetitia did.

Liking the models work via Photoshop that makes everything looks super pretty is totally different from liking the model in their Candids. 

The difference between the way Alex used to look which is what drew a lot of her fans in the first place and now is vastly different and sadly a little disheartening, sorry if you disagree.

That is basically the Kate Upton way except Kate made more noise earlier in her career and used youtube videos.  Also there is the Emily Ratajkowski way which is getting nude early and becoming famous because you have the hottest body on Earth but I wouldn't recommend that unless you were Emily Ratajkowski.  I guess Candice got famous because of the constant exposure from VS.  That was nice for her.

I don't know where the impression that Alex will become a rising supermodel comes from and it's been going on in this thread by the same couple of fans for maybe 2 years.  I see her as a commercial pin-up girl but not at top model territory.   This reminds me of the Barbara Palvin thread- expectations are high.  I've never really seen it or got why others thought it.  Getting superskinny doesn't really suit her frame/build and imho doesn't fit her in where she can aspire to go.

With Charlotte, I kind of sensed that she would eventually get bigger and called it about a year and a half ago.  She has the pin-up body but her face is a lose.  However,  I could tell that she was a go-getter that tried hard (taking any and everything just to increase exposure- ), had a decent agent, did PR & played the press (even if it was embarrassing) and knew where her strengths/weaknesses lay.   Much of succeeding in life is talent + character and this is one example. 

I can see still see Alexandria getting a spot in the VSFS, maybe in PINK, but I do agree that the chance for any significant relationship with VS has passed, with the influx of new Angels. It's a shame, because she had a lot of potential for them imo. I really hope SI comes through and she gets some exposure through that.

Well, that's fine if you don't get Barbara but there are many reasons that justify her zealous fans.  And I think the people who comment in this thread know what they are talking about and are right about Alex deserving a certain level of success.

Have your passport ready to go to castings anywhere on this planet. Work your ass off to be sure all the clients on that same planet know who u are.

Candice got famous because she worked her ass off as a commercial model before she got VS. She was just a fitting model for the VS show "girl you are not good enough to walk the show yet but we noticed you..." This how a model making her way to success.
