“Beware of CROCodiles”post-10177-0-1446018475-68479_thumb.gif

For Lae, the brandname "Lacoste" has a particular resonance in her memory...

In Madrid, Lae sported a CROCodile jacket (no, it is not by Lacoste couture).

Google the expression "La Casta". In the searches related to "La Casta", the search engine suggests to substitute the first vowel "a" into "o" becoming "La Costa"; however it does not replace the last "a" with "e".

But we need to come back in another millennium for the coincidence:

In 1999, Lae registered her brandname "La Casta" (INPI #3785221) and "LCasta" in addition of "Laetitia Casta".
We can simplify and reword the Lacoste's request in the following easy English question: is there a potential confusion between the brandnames "Lacoste" (INPI #148978A firstly registered in 1933) and "La Casta"?
In 2003 the High Court (TGI) of Paris rejected the Lacoste's request against Lae.
In 2005 Lacoste appealed the judment in the Court of Appeal and Lae definitively won!

The issue could exist when two brandnames share the same classification so called "Nice" classification of goods and services: here 25 (clothing), even if there are not yet clothings designed for the brandname "La Casta" on the market.

After a deep comparison (visually, phonetically, conceptually) taking in consideration the white separator between "La" and "Casta", which does not exist in "Lacoste",
the judges concluded that there is not any confusion between the two brandnames.

Conclusion:
In 2010, the registration of the brandname "La Casta" has been renewed for 10 years.

In 2015, :alien: is happy that La Casta (this name is written in big characters above the recent ELLE editorial) and Lacoste work together!

for this shooting in Paris 11th at the Daylight studios.

Editor’s note: the titles between double quotes are the names of the eight Lacoste couture polos.

“La Véritable” (the True) La(etitia) Casta, interviewed by The Reality Show magazine, prefers the ‘Game’ in the question: ‘Are you driven by desire, pleasure or the game?’

In ‘A French affair’, ‘Read The Reality Show’ for the Lae’s full interview also in French by Alexandra Birchall-White, the founder of Aïe magazine.

The cover of the Japanese magazine The Reality Show issue #9 features Cora Emmanuel wearing the Lacoste couture polo “Game Set Match” in shape of pacman-like tennis balls designed by Yazbuckey.

Lacoste pays tribute to the amazing work of Maison Lesage (hundred hours of embroideries) through the web site ‘les 8 polos couture’ with short video animations dedicated to the event.

Since the tennis playerRené (Lacoste a.k.a. ‘the Crocodile’) did it first” with his “René Grafitti”,

let us celebrate the “Fair Play” in this “Crocodile Story”

a Game of Love (sport, style, savoir-faire and seduction) with Lae's pics for the youtube icon and in the introduction and the conclusion of the Lacoste site Players.

Thank you to all of you for posting new pics and vids about Laetitia ! :hehe:

"One does not walk with a mirror at the hand :angie: ", the JDD

On July 11, 2015, in the Sunday's newspaper, Laetitia analyses the steps of the celebrity:

"The celebrity surprised me. :o  The celebrity amused me. :fun:  The celebrity annoyed me. "

Probably because of the paps, the weirdos and the questions of journalists about her private life.

The last sentence of the free extract of the Journal du Dimanche concludes on a more positive note.
