I can hardly wait to see this but someone needs to be fired stat for those sky blue unitard uniforms of Kirk/Bones/Sulu bahahaha :nicole:

For anyone interested, Chris Pine and Benedict Cumberbatch appeared on 'The Graham Norton Show' to plug STID last night (skip to 4:10 on the first video to start the interview). It's quite lengthy, but worth watching if you're a fan of either fellow. :hehe:

Thanks Benedict is charming when he runs up into the audience to greet fans, It doesn't open in the US for another week :cry2:

Had a blast. It's unapologetically big and very blockbustery, but it's also tremendous fun from start to finish. While Quinto was quietly excellent as Spock, Simon Pegg was actually my favourite; I thought he gave a superb performance and that's speaking as someone who wasn't totally convinced by him first time around. And Cumberbatch of course was fantastic. It's always nice when you have a villain who can switch between brain and brawn at the drop of a hat, and I was completely drawn in whenever he was on screen. He'll be the hook for non-Trek fans and those who otherwise wouldn't want to go.

Saw it last night, it, I thought everyone did a great job, Didn't think the 3-D was worth the extra money though.

I would love to see them

bring back Kahn and Carol in a future movie

I get the feeling that...

...the Klingons would probably take centre stage if there's a third movie (which I'd imagine there will be), but I don't see any reason why we couldn't have more of Kahn and Carol too.

:hehe:

JJ unveiled a previously unseen clip from STID during a recent interview with Conan O'Brien, featuring (for reasons not altogether clear to me) John Harrison angrily taking a shower to hilarious dramatic music.

^ DO IT!

I finally managed to watch the movie today and sure enough it was unapologeticly blockbustery Michael :D

I'm still a bit emotionally tender at Kirk & Spock shedding of a tear for their friendship as both hands meet at separate ends of life and death in Spock's infamous hand gesture
