Clearing my desk before I head to NYC to shoot for the week and just came across this great memory from last fall.A book and exhibition I partcipated in with with Karl Lagerfeld and other shooters for a Hair Book by the Euro brand Schwarzkopf for their 111th birthday. I used Nicole Trunfio, one of the most amazing and diverse models in the world. A couple of PHOTOS attached. This shot of Nicole one of my favorites from this series.One of the worlds leading Hair Artists known to us Ward (Bryan Bantry - Agency NY) did the entire project and between him and Nicole I was a passenger. This shot represents the dark of winter. Nicole is one of the most diverse models, photographers dream.This 'summer' shot was driven just by beach san and shells. Spring.Can't say it's not fun asking someone like Nicole to roll in flower petals. And again she delivers an awesome image with basically nothing to work from. Inspired by the fall winds.What you don't see is the four massive fans Ward is shooting from under Nicole. Deafening sound but great visual result. This shot taken at 2am on a freezing winters morning on the deck of pier 59 studios in New York on the hudson river standing in a baby pool.The glamour of fashion !
