Step aside Kendall! How Victoria's Secret Angel Taylor Hill became the breakout star of New York Fashion Week, strutting her stuff in TEN high-profile runway shows

Kendall, Gigi, and Karlie may be the established names of the New York Fashion Week runways, but another model may be about to join the short list of one-namers: Taylor Hill.

The 20-year-old has positively ruled the runways this week, racking up the most big-name designer shows of any model and establishing herself as the queen of the Spring 2017 catwalks.

The Colorado native — who is also a Victoria's Secret Angel and the face of Topshop's latest campaign — even closed out the Thakoon show at the beginning of the week.

Taylor started off the string of shows with a bang, closing the show for Thakoon — a brand for which she is a spokesmodel.

'I cast Taylor because she's got this American spirit that's really amazing. And she's a nice girl from Colorado!' designer Thakoon Panichgul told Elle. You know girls like her from school. You want to be friends with her.

'When we work with a model, it's usually for more than one season. It's a relationship. It's about a girl's personality and charisma, too. And Taylor has all that, so we booked her to be part of our brand right before she started having her big Internet moment. But it was obvious she would, you know? She's so fun.'

Taylor clearly had fun modeling a satin and lace jumpsuit for the designer, too, sharing Instagram snaps from last night fittings and congratulating him after the show.

She went on to model a neon 3D floral frock from Jason Wu, a casual-cool outfit of denim shorts and a leather jacket for Tommy Hilfiger, and a totally see-through top for Alexander Wang.

'When I first started modeling, one of my first expensive buys was an Alexander Wang white T-shirt, as weird as it sounds,' she told the New York Times of her excitement shortly before the show. 'It was so cool, I was like, “Oh my God, Wang!”'

In some shows, Taylor has been the true star, the most recognizable face in a sea of unknowns. Other times, she joined the ranks of fashion's hottest names, including Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Irina Shayk, and fellow Victoria's Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell.

At Anna Sui and Tory Burch, she modeled not one but two different outfits, and she also walked for Michael Kors, Brandon Maxwell, and DKNY.

It helps that Taylor is easy to pick out in a parade of tall, skinny, unattainably-pretty blondes and brunettes. Her pouty lips, dark eyes, and baby-face features are instantly recognizable.

This was even the case at the Marc Jacobs show on Thursday, where it seemed every other model coming down the runway was a major name. Afterward, she tweeted that the show was 'one of my all time favorite moments from this #NYFW!!'

Crazily enough, the star said she didn't even let up on her workout routine during the hectic week.
She told the Times: 'I like to switch it up. I either go to Dogpound or I have a personal trainer, Lauren Duhamel who does a lot of muscle isolation and toning exercises, and sometimes yoga. Dogpound is a gym in Tribeca that some of my friends started and it’s a mix of a lot of stuff — boxing, weights, cardio. It’s always really hard. You leave dripping in sweat and dying.'

And while she still likely has some busy weeks ahead — next up, the fashion shows head to London, Paris, and Milan — she knows exactly what she's going to do when the Spring 2017 presentations are finally over.

'Sleep,' she said. 'It will be like Christmas by the time I’m done since I have the VS shows.'
