Known by many as “The Face of Women’s MMA”, Gina “Conviction” Carano has been the driving force behind the American acceptance of women in the sport of mixed martial arts. She excelled in Muay Thai competition prior to starting her career in World Extreme Fighting, where she fought and won in the first sanctioned Women’s MMA match in Nevada. Moreover, Carano is well-recognized outside of mixed martial arts, appearing in the cult film “Ring Girls,” the reality series “Fight Girls”, the hit video-game “Red Alert 3,” and perhaps most notably, competing as “Crush” on American Gladiators. Carano enjoyed a seven win-streak prior to her first loss against Cris Cyborg for the Strikeforce Women’s Lightweight Championship. Carano has been consistently ranked as a top 5 middleweight fighter.

Absolutely love Gina.  Great to see her back out doing something film related.  Hopefully we'll hear about some more film projects here before too long.
