February 17, 200817 yr ^ Thanks! Her appearance on Letterman just now wasn't bad. As I expected, she looked great and Letterman was boring. She should've gone on Late Night w/ Conan O'Brien. Question: What did they mean when they talked about the Body Painting not being allowed in the US?? Have all the body paint ones been shot out of the country?
February 17, 200817 yr Yes its true, American are “hysterical” about showing nudity on pictures that they are in Europe Do you don’t remember when Justin Timberlake rip of Janet Jackson`s top and her breast was out??? It was a big issue in the USA So I think they have to shoot nudity out of the country, I don’t know if they have this body paint pictures in the American issue?
February 17, 200817 yr Oh, and I believe that SISE behind-the-scenes thing on TNT airs at 11pm EST tonight.

It was a big issue in the USA So I think they have to shoot nudity out of the country, I don’t know if they have this body paint pictures in the American issue? I think that's being a little unfair! Americans as a whole are not hysterical about nudity. God knows there's enough of it in modern society, and we're very tolerant of it -- if not the major source of it. It's just that there are certain conservative/religious groups that complain loudly about it, and outsiders mistake that for the opinion of everyone in the U.S. (which is pretty silly). And you seem to be misinterpretting the reason for the controversy over that Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction," miss. It's not the nudity, per se; it's that the nudity happened unexpectedly during a program with an enormous amount of people (and kids) watching. There's a certain level of "decency" that needs to be upheld in TV when anyone could be watching, and that level was broken. Was it an overreaction? Sure. But I don't blame people for having an issue with what happened. Nudity does not need to be shot out of the country, by the way.
February 17, 200817 yr ^ I think you mean "liberal," not "library." And how do you know Europeans are more liberal when it comes to nudity? After all we're talking about the nudity of an American magazine here. I don't know what Letterman meant by that, but he seemed like a somewhat crazed old man for the show, so I'm not sure he even knew what he was saying.

February 17, 200817 yr Slightly hypocritical attitude the USA has to the whole 'nudity thing', no probs in AUST BTW (though be very discreet in Qld). Yet the USA is to porn what Bollywood is to film. Just my £2/2/0 worth.
