February 16, 201610 yr Thank you for all the updates! Some thoughts: DVF: She is a great fit for the brand and I think the presentation suited her better than the runway did last season. Lily has a fun personality and the DVF presentation showed that off. I'd love if she ended up in a campaign for the brand because I think out of all the designers she's worked with this is the best fit. SI: I said it in the main SI thread but she really looks like she thought she was shooting VS swim and not SI. The poses are too catalog, and there are some really odd/off ones. I also don't understand why she was in exclusively VS this year, they use her less than they ever have before and it's not like it had been an issue her previous two years. This was better than last year's easily, but I agree with those that think 2014 was her best year. Carolina Herrera: She looked beautiful in her outfit, I liked what they gave her more this time. I found it interesting that she didn't open (or close) like she did last season and that there was a lot less focus on her (backstage/social media/etc.) this time. I'm curious to see if she shoots for their FW 2016 campaign later this year. It wouldn't surprise me if they went with Karlie and maybe Romee again.

I was thinking about this earlier today, and I'm wondering if VS is rethinking their relationship with SI, like letting their girls work across the brands. I'm wondering if that was part of the reason why Sara didn't shoot for SI this year- she would have shot for the 2015 magazine before her Angel contract was signed in February, but they might have specifically included SI as an exclusion when she signed. Lily's contract allowed her to shoot for SI, and VS wouldn't be able to impose any additional restrictions on her during its term, but maybe they negotiated with SI that they wanted a VS girl to only be wearing VS?

I thought this too or VS could've wanted both girls in the issue rocking VS swimsuits and SI said no only one girl or the other has to wear different suits. Sucks that Sara was the causalty. But I love Lily's shots for the issue so I'm happy.
