Cause I think that's on private now. I don't understand why they put videos on private after a while. Like that holiday one, it had over 1 million views, and great feed back. I mean if you think about it Martha kind of already fills Lindsay role as the all American blonde, blue eyed angel who is one of the better spokesmodels for the brand. phenobarbie Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Funny I found that Martha stood out more in the Christmas commercial than any of the other girls, including Candice, even though Candice had the more eye catching styling. Not to mention Martha didn't do a bad job promoting VS during the spot she had during the Macy's day Parade. Nor does she bear any resemblance to Kate Upton, or share any similar career paths to her, so I'm not quite sure where you're getting the comparison. Sadly 90% of the current VS angel line up either needs to retire or should never have been hired to begin with. Either you made a name in the first year for yourself or it's probably not going to happen regardless of how much the company tries to make it. So I say give Martha a shot, I personally think she makes a great spokes model, and has the potential to be as big or bigger than Candice. But who knows, guess it depends on how they decide to market her, they seem pretty hit or miss with a lot of their girls. As for Elsa she's adorable, but I'm not sure the big doe eyed deer in headlights, bouncy over the top look would work for mainline. Then again, they have opened mouth sexy deer so hey, it just might. And Sara, I personally find much more attractive in clothing then I do lingerie or swimwear. Her body is a little boxy, with not a whole lot on the bottom or the top and a very linear waistline. RafSecret Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 I think the only problem with Martha is that god awful personality, she comes off as very cocky and pretentious on the videos VS puts out and not to mention the VSFS pre-show. I don't find her body that great either, it's like a bonier version of Lindsay. As for her walk I'm at loss for words....there's finally someone that is on Cara's level on bad runway walks, she literally looked like a newborn animal taking it's first steps during the VSFS. I don't think anything can make up for that unfortunately because as soon as you come off as arrogant it's just not a good look, despite the fact that Karlie does get a lot of crap for example, she does seem to genuinely really care for the brand and it shows, she's definitely grateful for VS, Martha seems more like she owns the place based on one photoshoot. I truly don't think she is anything special or new, if anything boring and highly replaceable so I personally don't think Martha is a good choice or anybody worthy of a contract. Oh lord that is the last thing VS needs. Martha is not well spoken at all, has no star potential, and looks like a low rent Kate Upton if you ask me. Her new catalogue pictures for mainline lingerie honestly blur the line between escort and VS model. I wish they would just use Doutzen more and call it a day. The one where she had that tacky raccoon eyeliner, looked burned out, and was super awkward and cocky? It was not a good look at all. Kelly Gale and Sara Sampaio looked miles better on the pre-show, and presented themselves much better. From my knowledge there was only one pre-show. It is ok if some of us disagree. We don't always need to nor do we have to agree. Just b/c someone doesn't agree doesn't mean they are wrong nor does it mean they are right either. Just opinions. It's all good (Y) ------------------------------ I think Martha is a potential to replace Erin. I do agree w/ gab that I don't see her dethroning Candice anytime soon. Not so much b/c she doesn't have the potential but I don't see VS giving her an opportunity to do so. The fact she isn't your stereotypical fashion model makes her "unique" and people could relate to her. She also does have star quality. The whole thing w/ VS was a blessing in disguise. Erin was Marisa's replacement and not it seems Martha is Erin's. Such a stupid pattern VS but whatever. I was really shocked with whatever happened between VS and Erin.
