I don't understand the Cindy Bruna hype, she's pretty but even she's boring, all she does is smile, Lindsay 2.0 

 

Yeah I see what y'all are saying and I kind of feel the same way but I need to see more of her especially in VS before I come to the final conclusion of her being pretty but boring category or whatever lol. She is still pretty young and new to the game so who knows she might just become a standout and come into her own, plus she has the perfect body for VS imo and the hf cred VS seems to love. 

 

Why not both   ....... oh my bad I forgot VS has a only one dark skin angel at a time policy.

 

Well even if Kelly or Cindy don't become angels, I still would like for them to continue to working with VS since they are pefect for the brand imo same for Sara, Bregje, Jac, Magda, Gracie and some others.

Model who left Victoria's Secret for God reveals she is NINE MONTHS pregnant in casual Twitter snap

The former Victoria's Secret model who gave up her career because it clashed with her religion is nine months pregnant.

Kylie Bisutti, 23, who has been married to husband Mike since 2009, has not kept her pregnancy a secret, but a photo posted on her Twitter account on December 7 was the first time many fans had been aware of the happy news.

'8.5 months pregnant,' she wrote. 'I just can't wait to hold this little baby and meet this little gift God gave me.'

 

And Mrs Bisutti is not the only expectant mother in her family. In a rare coincidence, her own mother is also pregnant, with a due date just one day apart. O.o

Mrs Bisutti, who now lives a quiet life in Montana, published a book earlier this year titled I'm No Angel: From Victoria's Secret Model to Role Model, detailing the struggles she went through as a religious supermodel feeling exploited by the fashion industry.

 

'I felt like a piece of meat,' she told The New York Post about the shame she experienced.

She says that growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada, she dreamed of walking the runway for the famous lingerie brand.

 

'I thought the models I saw defined beauty, and beauty meant you were important,' she said.

But once she moved to New York at 15 to pursue her dream, she realized a model's life was not as glamorous as she expected it to be.

'One of my [model] roommates was so bulimic, she would involuntarily throw up when she ate,' she recalled.

'She would go to sleep crying every night and just look at herself in the mirror thinking that she was so fat. And she was so thin.'

As a 5ft 10in teenager, Mrs Bisutti, who then used her maiden name, Ludlow, eventually restricted her own diet to just watermelon, pineapple and water, managing to slim down to 108lbs to adhere to the pressures of the industry.

But around the same time, she attended a church youth group with a friend, a life-changing event where she discovered God and was inspired to become a practicing Christian.

Unfortunately, religion did not mesh well with her new lifestyle. The then-teenager says she felt exploited multiple times by photographers and agents, who seemed to perceive her as a sex object.

'I was so desperate to succeed in the business that I complied when my agent told me, "All models have a topless shot,"' she told the Post regretfully, adding: 'I was only 16 when I posed for mine.'

Then, the biggest opportunity of her career came along - she was among 10,000 women to try out for the 2009 Victoria's Secret Angel Search competition, and she won.

 

She said that one of the most significant turning points in her life was when she met her now-husband, Mike Bisutti, on a family trip to Mexico.

Although she wanted to honor her Christian vows to him, she says Victoria's Secret encouraged her to pretend to be single and flirt with other people.

The final straw was on a shoot for FHM magazine, when a photographer instructed her to pull up her top and 'hold up the covers like you don't have any panties on,' she remembers.

At that moment, Mrs Bisutti had a revelation: 'I was being paid to strip down and pose provocatively to titillate men,' she said. 'It wasn't about modeling clothes anymore; I felt like a piece of meat.'

Since leaving the modeling industry to become a 'Proverbs 31 wife and mother', Mrs Bisutti has launched a Christian fashion line named God Inspired Fashion.

The collection features both womenswear and mesnwear, as well as a Back to School line for children - all printed with 'words of faith'.

Kelly Gale is consider dark skin with Joan , Gracie and Lais? i dont think so.... if in the future they make her an angel she is not going to be the "black girl/angel".

as far as i know Kelly is scandinavian with some indian roots right?...so she not fit with dark skin girls like Lais , Gracie , Joan and Cindy .

Speaking of Angel-Wannabes, Jamielee Darley Kljestan recently posted a picture of her baby bump. I tried locating the picture again but had no luck. Maybe she took it down...Hmmm...

I just realized, they changed Behati's pic on VSAA's supermodel list. But not on her page... Must be fairly recent.

 

And they (somewhat) fixed the All About Angels thingy on Facebook. It shows Doutzen only right now, with Alesssandra next to be featured.
