I'm not tripping that Candice will probably open the show again this year ( although I wanted Ale or Karlie to open), kinda of seen it coming they have been going full throttle to promote her like crazy these past few years and plus as much I like Adriana and love her opening the show and all, but homegirl has open the show about 1,000 times already.

 

The only thing I do have a problem with is her possibly opening the British Invasion segment which might be the first segment. I feel like they should really allow an actual British model open that segment and just let Candice close it with the FB bra and have the Parisian segment be the opening like people hav said.

WTF does Birds of Paradise have anything to do with UK/France? The only living connection b/wn the 2 were during the colonization times when they went down to the Caribbean and South America to um, colonize? I think of places like Jamica, Haiti, Barbados, etc. Interesting considering Sigrid Agren is from Martinique a French colony in the Caribbean. Hm...

 

And Lol at UK vs France segment/Candice Vs. Adriana parallel. I think the whole Adriana FB thing was hinting at this the whole time! Very stealthy VS.E

Edit: Personally, Birds of Paradise has the potential to be one of their most visually stunning segements ever. I mean wings of a Macaw?!

If VS has some sense then she should because she is the face of the Night perfume and she shot the commercial for it in Paris so it would be the smart thing to do. We can probably run Behati out as opening that segment tho, she's walking the British one.

It hurts me to say it but its about time for her to leave and adriana too kind of. I mean of course they milk adriana but then give candice the benefit of it all. The torch is def being passed though. Adriana can only open up so long and they can only be helped by her for so long. I think VS wants to hold on to them but they know what they have to do... too bad what they have been doing is an epic fail

 

They need them some better angels. Why is it so hard to find angels like the ones they had 2002-2005? They wouldn't have to push candice on us so much.

The fact that Erin is very unlikely to walk the show makes me think she and VS got off on the wrong foot. Am I the only one that's dying to know the story?! Clearly her contract ended abruptly. Else, wouldn't she be contractually obliged to walk the show, even if she wasn't an angel anymore right after?

Nop, a three year contract comes with three VSFS mandatory and Erin's three shows were 2010, 2011 & 2012 so she has no obligation to walk.

I think the problem with candice opening for british  is because they made it an opener instead of an in between segment . They have no british angels and can't let a regular model open the entire show.

 

VS is just so dumb. Why have a British segment anyway honestly? You don't have any british angels, barely have any british models. Why make it british themed instead of royal theme.

I definitely agree, but you can't deny that it was so ABRUPT. Erin was being promoted as heavily as Candice at one point; she was always the angel second to Candice. Usually the angels just fade out. It's just so shady how all of a sudden they just dropped everything.

People just think it's funny and ironic because France and UK are historically arch enemies, and Adriana and Candice are rumored to be "rivals". So if they each open those respective segments it will be a parallelism.

Yep so I don't think VS wanted to get rid of Erin. So like other people believe once her contract is up she walked. Usually when someone's contract is up and VS are done with them a few months prior they phase them out. They did it with Chanel, Marisa, Selita and truthfully feels like they're doing it to Doutzen.

Exactly. But I only want her to stay if VS still treats her like a queen lol. I know thats greedy of me but i'm a fan and Adriana deserves every good off the wall thing VS does for her because its a balanced relationship. Watch adriana isn't going to be opening but she probably gonna be the only one trending and who everyone talks about. So I don't want her to be there if they just can brush her to the side for some damn candice. no offense

 

I think in general though alessandra is a pretty good walker, she has had great moments esp when VS slows down her walk

Candice gets hate because of VS. Same way last week adriana was getting hate because of them. VS doesn't realize but when they play unfair it upsets people, not getting people to like the model lol. Like her opening only made things worse in my eyes.

All of this. I especially think they should start building up a third wave of younger talent. That's why I thought they would jump at Barbara, Toni, Sara, Bregje etc.
