Michigan native and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton showed up at last night's Tigers-Royals bout at Comerica Park, partying in Justin Verlander's suite and launching a Twitterstorm.

She seems to be enjoying herself quite a bit. I don't blame her; baseball games are damn good occasions to get drunk and I spent a lot of the year I was 20 years old going to Tigers games and trying to buy alcohol. Nobody who ever hooked me up was a star Detroit pitcher, though, which is where this might get a bit hairy.

Dougie video was considered viral -

Cat Daddy video was considered viral -

Kate Upton - Cat Daddy - 2 months ago | 16,920,393 views

Kate Upton Dougie - 1 year ago | 7,810,388 views (every video but one was taken down so we don't know the total in youtube views)

Drive-In Featuring Kate Upton (The Southwestern Patty Melt - 4 months ago | 6,259,675 views

Kate Upton: Swimsuit Superstar! - 1 year ago | 4,089,515 views

Kate Upton - Sobe - 1 year ago | 4,722,148 views

Also, please take into consideration that every single one of those videos has been posted multiple times in various places and generally has anywhere from 100,000 - 600,000 more views with each consecutive post, I just didn't feel like adding those numbers together.

A few years ago, a video could be considered “viral” if it hit a million views. Now I’d like to propose a more stringent definition.

A video, I submit, is “viral” if it gets more than 5 million views in a 3-7 day period.

One caveat, however. Part of what makes a video “viral” is not just the views but the degree of discussion online and offline (media). Here we get into a “chicken and the egg” issue, since the video’s viral nature may prompt “coverage,” which inspires even more views (although less than you’d think). Most views are driven by online activity not television or print coverage.

i just googled her, and WTF?

Kate Upton, who has the body most women would be envious of, has still been branded as "lardy" and "well-marbled" by a pro-anorexia website.

The 20-year-old model has become the target of pro-anorexia website SkinnyGossip following her participation in a burger commercial.

Despite shooting sexy images for Carl's Jr. a few months back, the website has suddenly decided to slam the blonde star now by calling her a "cannibal".

But before mentioning that, the site hit out at her confidence on the catwalk referring to a recent show which saw her model a variety of swimwear.

"Guess who?! Yes, it's the lovely Kate Upton, confidently lumbering up a runway like there's a buffet at the end of it," the Daily Mail quoted them as saying.

"She looks thick, vulgar, almost pornographic - and she is a solid 30lb too heavy for this outfit," it said.

The website then moved on to the burger images, which include the U.S. star laying on a car bonnet as she tucks into a tasty-looking cheeseburger.

"I thought cannibalism was illegal?!? If that's not a very different species of cow, Kate could be in legal trouble!" it said.

The negative abuse went on to describe Kate as a "squishy brick" and "piggy" before asking "Has fashion become this?" (ANI)

Is it me or are we missing the new outtakes from GQ?

GQ released some additional outtakes similar to the angles from the video but they photoshopped the area around her nipples so they would become more visible.

I think they got released last Monday or Tuesday.

Actually NVM. It looks like they may just be re-released versions of the iPad Edition photos. The originals weren't tagged but the newer outtakes are tagged.

Thread cleaned, we appear to be veering way off topic here.

The mods have already said that criticism is allowed so long as it isn't hateful or seriously negative or harassing and so forth.

This is true, but there's a limit. As long as you keep it constructive and respectful, it's not a problem if you want to say your piece. However, the reality is that repeated criticisms will invariably be seen as provocation by other members. Thus, we ask you (and everyone else) to exercise decorum wherever possible and keep negativity to a minimum.

No doubt that Kate is carving a nice niche of her own in the industry and I won't be surprised if 10 years down the road they will be calling others with similar uprisings as the new Kate Upton, or at least the inevitable comparisons. Good to hear Kate is proving all the naysayers wrong
