BUT take into account that the man gifted millions of dollars' worth of valuables to Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese as well. I bet they did not have to sleep with him. He was desperate to hang out with likes of Leo and get in celebrity circles so he tried to buy friends. It’s safe to say he admired Leo so it makes sense that he wanted to have a model girlfriend himself and used the only asset he had, money. So, I think it’s entirely possible all the gifts were his attempt to woo her. We all know how successful Miranda is in Asia, she is an ideal of beauty over there. Maybe he even wanted Miranda to be the face of a lingerie company he had bought and that was his in with her? (Yes, this is the same scandal in which Leonardo DiCaprio is involved.) They basically stole billions of dollars that were supposed to be spent helping poor Malaysian people. Miranda Kerr had a special “friendship” with this scummy businessman. Miranda Kerr spent over a year with Jho Low, yachting with him and accepting MILLIONS of dollars worth of “gifts” from him. Yet, she didn’t talk about their relationship on social media. And there were no photos of them together. That’s… odd, isn’t it? Kerr’s representative, Mark Fabiani, confirmed that she transferred the jewelry from her safety-deposit box in Los Angeles to government agents on Friday. Along with film producer Riza Aziz (the stepson of Prime Minister Najib Razak) and several other individuals, Low is accused of spending misappropriated Malaysian government funds on “properties, business ventures, yachts, parties, artwork, clothing, jewelry and other luxuries” in the United States. Court documents filed in New York last year described Low as playing a “central role in both disbursing and personally receiving” the stolen money. Their business ventures included bankrolling the 2013 movie The Wolf of Wall Street via Aziz’s production company, Red Granite, with money funneled through Goldman Sachs. A biopic about boiler-room boss Jordan Belfort, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, cost $100 million to make and brought in $392 million globally. Last year, the Department of Justice moved to seize the rights to the Oscar-nominated film and recover royalties and proceeds from the film. DiCaprio has already turned over a Picasso painting worth $3.2 million that he received as a birthday gift from Low as well as a Jean-Michel Basquiat collage valued at $9 million, both of which were listed in the June court filing. A spokesman for the actor also told Fortune that the actor returned another gift, an Oscar won by Marlon Brando, that he’d received from Red Granite. Neither Kerr nor DiCaprio is accused of wrongdoing and Low has yet to be charged with a crime. *Luna* Posted July 2, 2017 Share Posted July 2, 2017 To say she can't help it that she got "dragged into" this is not really true in my opinion, Miranda doesn't seem like the type of person who would believe these men are innocent and accidentally got a ton of these jewels. Fairly sure that she knew what was going on or what could be going on. She and MANY other models would have some very interesting "behind the scenes" stories as to what really goes on at these kind of events, parties, shows etc they all go to. I think the general public would be very surprised to hear some of the things that happen there and while it may seem shocking to some, it's not that unheard of in these type of circles. I barely get involved in drama in real life so I'm not going to bother reading anything about this. But I will say I don't think Miranda is squeaky clean and I just get a vibe from her that she likes money, drama, and attention. I love her blue dress from the even above! I suspect Miranda’s team knew in advance that the feds were gonna put Miranda’s business out on the streets so they did that story to counter the idea that she would sleep with billionaires in exchange for diamonds and such things. I don’t think that in those circles women like her think of associating with rich and powerful men in terms of escorting etc. They are accustomed to men lavishing them with gifts.
