^ Unfortunately no :( Season 5 (the current season) is the last season. It will have 13 episodes versus the regular 20+.

3 down 10 more to go :cry2:

My bad! I meant season 5

I have watched the last episode of season 4 a month ago and I am happy there is a 5 =)

I've just watched the video u posted Pink and... Poor Walter! I don't know why but since the first season I just want to give him a big big hug. I feel like he needs it.

^ Even if the last season is shitty, I think the show will be remembered as a cult classic

Hope so. I'd hate to see it go the way of 'X-Files', where the 'bigger picture' element fails to stand the test of time. :/

So, S5 is finally underway in the UK...

When I realised that the opener was a continuation of the futuristic strand from S4 I had reservations, but it was a pretty good start all things considered. In a roundabout way, they've seemingly reverted Walter to how he was when he first left St. Claire's. Interesting stuff, now let's see how it goes in the weeks to come. I'm bracing myself for at least one 'daughter in jeopardy' episode to take place (I've had my fill of that particular plot device through watching '24'), but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, as they say.

:hehe:

The second episode wasn't half bad either...

The mother/daughter relationship could have been terrible, but it's actually quite good so far. I like the fact that Etta has become hardened by life in the dystopian Observer world. I get the feeling that this whole 'collect the videotapes' thing could start to wear a bit thin after a while though, so I hope they don't drag it out too much.

Oh, and John Noble is still the man!

Comment about Ella:

Although the actress who plays Ella is a bit "meh" but the fact she does really look like a mix of both Joshua Jackson and Anna Torv is quite astonishing.

Can't believe I missed the first 2 or 3 episodes...i feel so out of it. Saw the last episode and thought it was okay. While I enjoyed season 4 i think seasons 1-3 were my favorite.

So, got that one slightly wrong, then.

And Donald is (full reveal starting @ 00:34)...

I swore I almost cried b/c I suspected it and I was so glad to see this person again!!!:heart:

No idea if he'll be playing any further part in the storyline, but just the fact that he appeared was a nice touch.

But where did he get all that hair?

So, I'm hearing that the finale will be shown in the early hours of next Friday/Saturday (presumably at a slight delay so they can slot their own ad breaks in) to keep it in line with the States. Don't let me down, Sky! :voodoo:

On earlier at 8:00, right (East Coast, U.S.)? Hope it's an ending to remember...

So that's a wrap... :cry2:

Loved the finale, although I more or less guessed what the final scene would end up being. Well, nearly the final scene. The very final scene was good too, even if knowing the importance of the white tulip pushed my failing memory to it's absolute limits. The bit with Walter and Peter watching the tape was really moving, and the use of all those weird and wonderful weapons against the Observers was very cool, as was the (albeit brief) reappearance of Olivia's powers.

Overall, I enjoyed S5 a lot and I'll remember it fondly. As I probably already mentioned, I wasn't overly fussed on the idea of the whole thing taking place in the bleak Observer-run future, but after a while the setting really grew on me.

Random question regarding the last few episodes: Michael Cerveris - bald man with hair piece or hirsute man with shaved head/bald cap?

Michael Cerveris is bald, but that hair piece looks incredibly real doesn't it? Plus I think he looked really good with hair.

Most definitely.

If I had to imagine some hair for him (whatever that means), I'd imagine exactly that. Thought it was a spot-on representation of how the character would want to look, were he given the choice. Also find it very difficult to believe that he's 52.

Random question regarding the last few episodes #2: when did Astrid become so absurdly pretty? Did my powers of observation (arf!) let me down during seasons 1-4 or did it just happen in S5?
