What did you think of this one? :)

It confounded me a bit, if I'm honest. Great performances all round, but the second half of the movie (trying to avoid spoilers, of course) seemed to lack any kind of dramatic stakes or coherence, with lots of shifts in perspective and a seemingly random mix-up of domestic scenes. It led to a welcome uplifting climax, but one that I personally felt hadn't been fully earned. There's a great film to made about the resilience of a child in peril, I'm not sure if that was it though.

I actually loved it, for me it's one of the best (if not the best tbh) movie from the awards season this year. I love the second half because it shows the mother's struggles, she didn't just have a magical perfect ending, to me it felt real and probably very accurate for the situation.

I think it's a shame Jacob Tremblay did not score an Oscar nomination, the kid pulled a better performance than the ten men who are nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor.

Deadpool - very entertaining. Some jokes were cheesy but most of them were pretty good. Ryan Reynolds' performance was great!  8.5/10

The Visit - I know it's supposed to be a horror film, but I just couldn't stop laughing  It's definitely not scary at all but it's very entertaining :p The ending is quite good, I was not expecting that. 8/10

The Bay-Great eco-horror film. Little maggots growing in the water from steroids dumped in and pollutants that causes them to grow and eat you from the inside you. :ninja: But what was most scary is finding out that is actually possible :ninja:

Where the heart is:

Such a cute movie

Yes, it is.

This evening I' m going to watch "Gone with the wild":

Inside Out- Damn Pixar, always pulling on them heartstrings :cry: What an amazing movie, so smart and innovative. About growing up, going through changes and hardships in your life. EVERY PERSON EVER can relate to this movie, unless you are an emotionless monster :p In most ways this movie is for adults than kids. Anyways how freaking adorable, one of Pixars best for sure  10/10 :chicken:

Batman vs Superman, and i loved it. I absolutely don't get the negative reviews and critics on the movies ... It's like if the journalists not even watched it many time ...

  • 2 weeks later...

I've seen these in the past 1 or 2 weeks:

Son of Saul - interesting...

Brooklyn - great

The Fault in Our Stars - overrated

The Divergent Series - meh

also watched Inside Out for like 4th time and I can just agree with katchitup, I love this movie so much

Inside Out, this evening, and i found it very original, like often with Pixar !

And now Man of Steel, for the 5th time already :D
